St. Ives Medicated Apricot Scrub seems to be one of those basics that every woman goes through at some point. On the plus side: it smells good, it cleans, it exfoliates, and it clears up your skin. All that and it's cheap, too! On the down side, it's harsh, you can readily rub sensitive skin raw, and salicylic acid is drying. review »i have to say, of all the acne products i've used, st. ives medicated apricot scrub works above and beyond! because it wasn't a big name like proactive or clean and clear, i was iffy about trying it. but i'm so glad i did! i srub my face with it every night before i go to bed and every morning when i wake up. the first time i did it was before i went to bed, and the very next morning, my skin was remarkably smooth and acne-free. i have my hair cut in bangs, so my hair is constantly on my face, causing alot of acne on my forehead, especially blackheads.
