Bottom-line: I like St. Ives Intensive Healing Advanced Body Moisturizer, not only because it tends to cost $2.00 less than other noted brands, but because it works on my skin.
I have dry skin. No matter what soap I use the result is the same: dry skin. And the condition is only intensified by my diabetes. So I need lotion and lots of it every night after my shower and the next morning as well. So in a lotion I look for a product that not only moisturizes my skin, but also smells good and last a while.
So, one of my "new" (after the CVS Brand lotion fiasco, the wife and I did extensive research on which lotion(s) works best on my skin) lotions of choice is St. Ives Intensive Healing Advanced Body Moisturizer, which can be found at my local (Walgreens and CVS) Drugstore(s) for an average of $3.99; prices vary and there are always sales and occasional coupons. The lotion ships in an 18 fluid oz. bottle with a pump top that is easy to use.
My Viewpoint
The lotion, excuses me, Advanced Body Moisturizer, is thick and creamy with a very light fragrance, in fact it unscented and hypo-allergenic. I usually lotion right after a shower and the lotion absorbs readily enough into the skin.
I like St. Ives Intensive Healing Advanced Body Moisturizer, not only because it tends to cost $2.00 less than other noted brands, but because it works on my skin. In the world of lotions, St. Ives Intensive Healing Advanced Body Moisturizer is not the most expensive brand, but it is one you can count on to work.
