St. Ives Apricot Facial Scrub —

When I first saw St. Ives Apricot Scrub - Gentle on the shelf I though, hey why not.  I'm a big fan of St. Ives and their products have always worked for me in the past.

The facts:

-Hypo-Allergenic

-Keeps face healthy

-For sensitive skin

-100% natural

-Not tested on animals

What happened:

The first time I used it nothing really happened.  I figured I was switching face washes and that it would take a few days to see results.  I don't have sensitive skin but I tried this face wash anyways.  After a few uses I started to notice spots on my face were becoming dry and flaky.  I was angsting it out so I continued to use it to see if it was in the transition phase still.  Then I started breaking out on areas of my face I never break out in.  I thought, that's it.  My face is breaking out in weird places, my face is dry and flaky and it does not feel soft or refreshed.

I wonder if this product would actually work better on someone who does have sensitive skin.  But for me this product is going in the trash where it belongs.

I have suspected the same thing, but I like the scrubbiness of it. Hmmm. I only use it when I have a really scrubby urge though, not regularly, so maybe that helps with the dry flaky thing.
