All too often, I've heard my sons holler from the bathroom, "Mom! I need a towel!" Not my daugher--she always checks to see if towels are stored in the vanity before turning on the water. The boys jump in the shower and deal with towels afterwards. Heaven forbid if I don't have my hearing aids on that morning...
So last month, I finally picked up some new towels since it seemed like we always had a pile in the laundry room and never any in the bathrooms. The kids' bathroom only had three towels, so it was obviously time to buy more.
At Walmart, I spied some nice blue towels by Springmaid. There was a price roll back to five dollars. I wanted large towels with a soft feel but I didn't want to pay $14.99 for the ones that I liked at another store. Besides, with my kids, the towels land on the floor every time.
So I purchased four sets and I have not been disappointed. The towels are made of 100% Egypian cotton. They're made in Brazil (I'm boycotting stuff made in China and taking my chances elsewhere). The towels wick water quite well and have a nice feel to them. It is too soon to see how well they hold up over time.
Now if only I could get the kids to pick them up off the floor...
