I've used these Vitamin E supplements a few years ago and my hair was silky and shiny. My nails grew thicker and stronger as well. I stopped using them but then I started back last year. I had my hair in a protective style and I could still see growth. Ive recently started back using them again about a month ago because my nails were peeling and breaking and after about two weeks my nails were back healthy and strong.

I have used the Spring Valley Vitamin E capsules several times now and really like them. I have not taken them by swallowing them, though. I have broken open the capsule and used the vitamin E liquid on scars and a sore. It is very easy to do it this way, and vitamin E is a great healer of wounds. All you need to do is take a small needle or straight pin and pop a hole in the capsule. Then you can just easily squeeze it onto whatever spot you are trying to heal. I did this on a burn for my son and it really helped it heal quickly. I would recommend the Spring Valley vitamin E capsules because they were a good price and seemed to be high quality. If you are taking these by swallowing them, I think they would go down really easily because they are a small size. I have been happy with the other Spring Valley vitamins that I have purchased as well, and it is a brand that I trust to make high-quality products.

Vitamin E is an excellent antioxidant. It improves heart health and the immune system. I buy Spring Valley Vitamin E capsules and use them for so many things. Vitamin E is in various foods such as nuts, fish, tuna, leafy greens, eggs, and fortified cereal. If you do not eat these foods often, a vitamin E supplement might be right for you. However, your body can get too much vitamin E so I would not take it unless you need to. I love to cut the end off the capsule or poke a hole in it to use the vitamin E topically. It has a very thick and sticky consistency so daily use on the same area of skin in its pure form is not recommended. This is a great treatment for cuticles and nails. Every once in a while, I will dab a little on my fine lines before going to bed. It can be used to soften and moisturize dry, rough elbows, feet, and knees. It can be used to help heal scars and sunburns. I always have a bottle of these at home. Spring Valley offers good products at a reasonable price.

I've been taking vitamin e supplements to help with breakouts and preventing scars. So far, I haven't really seen any changes but there are a lot of people that swear by it. The great thing is, is that if you want to try and treat scars or hyperpigmentation spots, then you can just take a needle and poke the capsule and then squeeze out the vitamin e, and rub it on your face. However, this stuff is sticky and makes your face kinda shiny so I would suggest putting it on at night. They are easy to swallow and some women even claim that they help with wrinkles, although I wouldn't know. It has a pretty good content of vitamin e. I would say that if you don't eat a lot of friuts and vegetables, this would also help as a dietary supplement. It can be a very important tool in the healing process of any type of skin injury. I got this for a really decent price and can't wait to start seeing the results!

I discovered this oblong gold gel capsule while doing research for natural supplements. The suggested use is 1 softgel per day with a meal. I take 1000 I.U. The natural vitamin contains d-alpha tocopheryl, which means it's in its natural state so it works with our bodies instead of against it. While I have added this vitamin to my diet, I still eat natural fruits for vitamin E such as avocados, kiwi, grapes and peaches, in moderation of course. Vitamins and minerals are great, as supplements, but we should still strive to eat natural foods as often as possible. To my knowledge, I have not experienced any side-effects while taking this vitamin. The product is packaged in a reaonably sized bottle, 60 softgels, with a screw cap. The is a very potent product to me and should only be taken as directed. Spring Valley seems to be a reputable company and I will continue to buy their products.

i have taken this one for several years now as well as some others. i do not eat regulars meals and by that i mean i eat once a day. these are a great supplement to me. i use these capsules on skin irratations and scars and get great results from it. good stuff.

I have had severe pain associated with fibersystic breast disorder since November 2007. I have been to numerous doctors, all with no results.
