Most HelpfulSpring Air mattress. My husband and I slept in a super king water bed for many, many years. Finally, we decided to purchase a new bed and the search began. We tried the Temp-r-pedic which was very nice but several thousand dollars! Then we laid down on the Spring Air and it was perfect. We opted for the adjustable since we are TV watchers with the massage feature. We chose 2 extra long singles and placed them side by side which eqates into a king size bed so we didn't lose any space. The company came in and set the beds up with the massage etc. All we had to do was put on the sheets and enjoy!...
review »I was nervous about purchasing a mattress online and I spent a great deal of time researching different websites. I am a regular shopper at WalMart so I decided to check out their web site to see if they had any mattresses. After a great deal of skeptism I decided to purchase this mattress. (I was hoping for the best.)
When I picked up the mattress at the site to store area I was surprised to see how the mattress was packed, the box did not at all look like a mattress would fit into it. When we got it home we immediatelty opened it up and then removed the plastic that was vaccum sealed around it....
Don't let the recent corporate bankrupcy detour you. Spring Air is back and better than ever! Their plants are owned locally, no more big corporate nonsense. This allows the manufacturer to keep quality high and customer service friendly and fast!
Question: How do memory-foam mattresses differ from innerspring mattresses?
Answer: Inner-spring mattresses account for more than 90 percent of wholesale mattress sales in the United States, according to the International Sleep Products Association. They contain a network of coils or springs, clad in layers of padding. Foam mattresses have no coils, although there are several types of foam, each with a different density.
Memory foam, or viscous polyurethane foam, is a heat- sensitive, man-made material that eases pressure points. It was developed for use in space, to protect astronauts...
review »I bought the 'Sedona' ."Back Supporter" (what a joke) King size
like many others, mine lasted 2 years before caving in, with a nice big 'Hill' in the middle....And since i know you have to have a Masters Degree in Circus Acrobatics to get any mattress co to make amends on their product, i'm not wasting my time. I'm just gonna sell it..CHEAP.......Just like it got it
Remember, all mattress companies slap many different names on the same mattress; sell it under those different names at different stores, thats why price comparison shopping is so difficult
i'll never buy from them again
P.S. how...
review »I purchased my queen spring Air signature Back supporter mattress two years ago. Now it is sagging in the middle and definitely is not good support. I would never buy another one of these mattresses. Don't waste your money. I had a Sleep Number bed before purchasing this mattress but because of a move I had to buy a smaller bed. And now this week I had to buy another new mattress.
I bought the spring air mattress two weeks ago and I have never had such a good night's rest. I have had back problems for quite some time now and have never really been able to sleep thru the night. I have tried other mattresses and mattress pads and never got good results until now. The first night on the bed was like heaven. I was so suprised when I got up the next morning that I didn't awake during the night. I don't have to take any sleeping pills any more to help me sleep thru the night. I just lay down on this awsome bed and i am able to sleep thru the whole night without waking up with...
review »Spring Air mattress...what a horrible name; the quality is poor at best. I had this bed approx 4 months and started having problems. I cared for this bed exactly as instructed in the manual. I did not ever receive a list of items that would void my warrenty, but was told by the rep, I did. Now why would I purchase a 1000.00 product whose warrenty would be voided on the spot? So, 3 months later, after filling out 8 pages of questionaire and relying on my art work; I was told by the horrible representative at Spring Air that our warrenty was void.
We have a log cabin bed that...
review »I purchased the Spring Air Marathon Plush Mattress in 2005. It is supposed to have a ten year warranty. The mattress began sagging in 6 months. The pitting and sagging began in the side where I sleep and I only weigh 90 lbs! I turned the mattress every few months as recommended but it didn't help. After two years the mattress visibly sags in the middle.
I called Spring Air after 6 months to come out, inspect, and replace the mattress but because it had a water stain on the mattress they would not replace it. The Spring Air inspector tried to blame the water stain as being the cause of the sagging....
