If they had the donations that other charities pay their founders, they could spay just about every stray feral alley cat in the US. They take care of big cats, too - eight Siberian Tigers in Russia, aid Project: Tiger in India, and have three leopards and two cheetahs in Kenya.
And in return, they pay themselves nothing. If more charities - especially the big ones - were like them, it would be a wonderful world. They actually had an IRS agent write the part of their articles on Incorporation so no one now or down the road can ever get paid. If that isn't dedication, I don't know what is!
