Enhance Your Music Experience

5

Spotify is a great tool for music lovers. It is convenient, organized, easy to use and personalized just for you! Spotify makes playlists you can browse though to set the right mood. For example, they have playlists like "Smooth Jazz" or "Today's Top Hits". There are also playlists for each decade, so it is accessible for all ages. Spotify also has an option where you can make personalized playlists for all your own moods. A lot like other forms of social media, you can follow your friends and listen to playlists they made, or to see what they are listening to at that exact moment! These songs and playlists can be downloaded right to your phone, so if you are somewhere without service, you can still access all your music! You used to have to pay for every song you wanted access to, but now for just a small monthly price, you have access to all the music you want when you want it. Spotify also makes a playlist called "Discover Weekly" every Monday, and this is a list of songs that Spotify thinks you will enjoy based on what you are listening to. Another great playlist for listening to new music is the "Release Radar" playlist. Spotify will take note of the music you are listening to and make a playlist of songs they think you will like that artists have recently released. Because these playlists are constantly being updated, it makes the experience personable and up to date. On the occasion, Spotify might crash or glitch, but it is very rare and it fixes the bug in a matter of seconds. There are also endless podcasts to choose from if you would like to get advice or listen to stories. For people who love to listen to music live, there is an option where you can see if the bands you listen to are playing in your area. This is a really helpful option because it eliminates research you would have to do otherwise. To stay in the loop, you can follow your favorite artists, and you will receive a notification to start listening immediately. With Spotify, you can have itall

Laggy on mobile, even on wifi.

I have Spotify on my phone. I also have WiFi at home and most other places I go. So you would think that these two things would work great together and make my using Spotify and listening to music easy. And in theory it would, if Spotify wasn't so laggy. I have a Android phone, that runs other music streaming apps with no problem. Spotify is the only one I I have issues with. Unfortunately it's not an every now and then issue either. It's a nearly every time I try to use the app problem. Which makes it a headache every time that I want to use it. That being said. Spotify does have a good selection of music. They have many different generes and artists, making it easy to find music that fits your mood. I do like that I can create playlists and share them with other people. My biggest issues with it are that it causes issues and slows down my phone as well as it runs laggy too. These things need to be fixed so that I can better enjoy the app.

Fantastic music selection and home audio partner

Spotify allows me to build my library of all my old favorites by style, era and artist, while also picking up on new jamz based on my tastes. Spotify learns your tastes (you tell it your tastes) and you get to try out new artists and new tunes based on your selections.

I used to listen to Pandora all the time until I discovered Spotify. I like Spotify because I don't always know exactly what artist I want to listen to. You don't even have to make you own playlists with Spotify, because they already have plenty of pre-made playlists for you depending on what activity you are doing, what genre you want to listen to, or even what kind of mood you are in. So many times I find that Pandora plays the same songs, and same kind of music over and over again. They never play the songs I want them to. But with Spotify I always get to hear new songs, they always play my favorite songs, and I can always go back and listen to the same song without having to wait again. Spotify has such a wide selection of music to listen to, endless hours and days of music, whenever you want. Like I said I really like that you can favorite or star your favorite songs that you like so you can just go back into your stared songs folder, and listen to those songs whenever you want to. It's a great feature that most other music streaming websites don't have. I like that I can choose what music I listen to based on the activity I'm doing for example working out at the gym. They have playlists already made based on the activity like cardio, dance workout, HIIT, power workout, running, and more. They even already already made playlists for going to sleep, eating dinner, inspirational music, kids, romance, and the list goes on. I like listening to the gym playlists, top tracks in the united states, and today's hits the most. Spotify is also really easy to navigate through. They have abs and folders that you just click on that you can browse and find what you want to listen to. I mostly like to use the Spotify streaming on my laptop, but I also have it on my Iphone, as well as my tablet. I would say that Spotify is the best music streaming website out there right now, and it's way ahead of it's time. Whoever made Spotify did a spectacular job. I have the free Spotify, because I don't think it's worth it to pay since you get all the great same features as the paid program. I don't mind listening or watching the ads, because sometimes the ads even have things that I am interested. If you don't already have Spotify you should download it, because it's completely free, and the best website, and app to listen to music on. I have already recommended it to a ton of my friends and family. The music possibilities are endless.

I downloaded spotify on my laptop so I could listen to music while doing other stuff. I like being able to choose the artist and song I want to listen to which I can not do on a radio. I have to say Spotify took me a few days to get used to, it was pretty confusing to me. You can search artists or songs and then add them to your playlist or you can select already existing online radio stations or playlists from other users. Creating my own playlist was what confused me, but once I figured that out it has been easy to use. They have a huge selection of music genres to choose from and all the newest music out. I like exploring all the playlists and listening to music that is outside my comfort zone. I use the free version so there are ads every few songs, they are short and are not that bothersome so I will probably not upgrade to the ad free version. You can also connect to your Facebook account and follow your friends so you can see what they are listening too.

Good Free Controlled Streaming

I really like the free Spotify streaming program. I have it downloaded onto my phone and my computer. I like that I can listen to pre-made playlists, a friends' playlist, or entire albums. There's a lot of music available on Spotify, including new releases. I like also that I can make playlists for my own listening pleasure. People can follow my playlists, and get notified when I make changes. I make them based on mood, event or for my workout. There are options to shuffle the list/album, as well as to loop it once you've gone through all the songs. There's a search option to help you find the song/artist, although sometimes the suggestions it gives are a little weird. Once you find your artists you'll see the most popular songs of theirs, and then a basic discography. You'll still get commercials on Spotify, every few songs, but you can design your listening experience much more specifically than the other popular streaming program with a free option. There's the option to pay for a commercial free upgrade, but I haven't done this yet.

Love listening to music through Spotify

This music sharing website is amazing! You can have access to all sorts of music all under one program. No need for Cd's all over the place and the best thing is that the basic use of the website is FREE!!! The only drawback is that you don't actually own the music but it's on your computer as long as you want it. There's no limit to how many times you can listen to a song. Another drawback is that it doesn't include every song out there due to copyright laws. You can also pay a monthly fee and take Spotify with you on your phone/tablet. You can learn about new and upcoming artist and songs that are quickly becoming popular here. You can listen to the song one time or add it to one of your playlists to get back to that song quicker and listen to it over and over again. You can also queue up the songs on your playlists so that they will play in a specific order and skip the songs you don't want to listen to.

I really don't like Spotify. I tried it after I heard about how great it was. I already use a music streaming service but I thought I would give it a try. I have stuck with my usual music streaming service since. I installed Spotify on my MacBook. It took a while to get used to the program. [My other program I had no install and there was nothing to get used to]. I went through a few stations and tried to customize them a little bit. I just didn't care for the stations and when I tried to customize them it really didn't feel customized to me. I continued to use my main streaming music service [which I still use to this day]. The main problem with this program is every time I would turn on my MacBook Spotify would pop up before any other program. It would then slow down everything else from loading. I would then get multiple errors from Spotify pop up, all regarding how it could not connect to the network [it takes a minute for my WiFi to connect, calm down Spotify!]. Basically it just froze my computer like crazy when I started it up and it was just a hassle. It also took a while to get Spotify completely uninstalled. Really, there are WAY better music programs you can use. I don't understand the hype.

I absolutely LOVE Spotify, I use it every single day. It is so easy to use and I think the Premium comes at a decent prize. I've had it for around 6 months (the premium) and I'm very happy with it. The music selection is great and exploring new music is awesome.
