I have two boys, ages ten and seven as well as a cat and a large dog. Needless to say, my carpet takes a beating. I let the stain remover sit on the stains for about 60 seconds since these were older stains. I got a white clean cloth and began blotting the stain away. I didn't need to rub or scrub. The stains simply lifted out of the carpet and onto the cloth. One of the stains that were on a stair was rather large and had been on the carpet longer than the others. I repeated the process once again and the stain was fully removed. I then blotted each of the areas that the stains were removed from with cool water. I am genuinely impressed how easy and effective this product is. I now make sure that I have a can available at all times.
