I have a pair of these cubes, and my cat loves them! I got them for my adult cat, and honestly, I didn't expect that he would be that "into" them. But he seems to love going in them when they are popped up, or even lying on them and squashing them down (not sure why). We also combine these with the Go Cat Da Bird toy for an entertaining game. He will go into the cube and wait for me to "fly" the feathers over the hole in the "roof" of the square. He will pop out of the hole and swat at the feathers wildly. In addition, he likes to paw at these with his front paws, as if he's scratching in his litter box. He does not have front claws, so that doesn't hurt the nylon cube. He seems to like the texture of the surface. One note: mine came with 2 ribbons attached to the inside top of the cube, and I did read online of cats digesting the ribbons and having health problems, so I cut the ribbons off before letting him play with it. He was none the wiser, and it gave me a little more peace of mind. I would recommend this to anyone with a playful cat.

all 6 of my cats are big fans of the sportPet play cube, and for the longest, so was i.  the play cube is huge fun for the cats, with holes on 3 sides and dangly ribbons hanging from the ceiling inside.  it's convenient for me because it can be collapsed and stored easily as needed. when we fisrt started buying these, they were very sturdy.  the fabric was parachute-type and sturdy, and the wire frame held up to a great deal of abuse.  these cubes came in red and blue only.  more recently, however, the cubes have gotten flimsier.  the fabric is now thin and dinky.  it is similar if not identical to this waffle-patterned stuff often used to make cheapo reusable gracery bags, and it gets torn up in a hurry.  the wires that hold it open are different now too.  they're flimsier, and they don't hold their shape.  the newer cubes get bent out of shape quickly and easily.  these cubes seem to come in different colors as well.  i've noticed purple ones and ones with yellow trim.  beware of these.  they're very, very dinky and get torn up fast.
