Splendide waher/dryer combo..WD2100XCNA Review

If you are limited on space. the Splendide WD2100XCNA washer/dryer combo is for you. !!! it is the size of a portable washer, but you can dry your clothes in the same tub. 

The dimensions of this little dandy is Width 23.4 inches, height 33.75 inches and depth 22 inches. the loading capacity is quite small, so this isn't something for a large family. perfect for one or two people, though. The washing capacity is 2 to 15 pounds. i can do a couple jeans and a couple shirts at a time. the drying capacity is 2-11 pounds.

there are several settings on this machine. everything from delicates to heavy duty jeans. it takes about an hour to wash and a hour or a little longer to dry. i had to learn from trial and error on what i could dry and it not be wrinkled when it came out. since the tub is so small, mens all cotton work shirts tend to stay wrinkled. so i just hang those up to dry.

the down side to using the same tub is you can't wash a load while another is drying.  so a load a day keeps the laundry pile down. it is also recommended that you do several smaller loads rather than one larger load.

it is a great space saver and gets the clothes clean. it is also not cheap. we paid about $1,500 for the machine and installation.  been using it about 8 months. it comes with a year warranty.
