I've used this Splat Blue Envy kit a few times now & I'm still so so on deciding how I actually feel about it. As long as you either lighten your hair with the included bleach or already have light hair then the color is absolutely beautiful in the end. HOWEVER, if you're not able to dye your hair without getting it all over your skin (ears, neck, face ect.) then I probably wouldn't recommend you use this. I've always used either auquphor or Vaseline on my forehead, ears, neck & face prior to using the color which usually works quite well. Be VERY CAREFUL to not get ANY dye ANYWHERE that you don't want getting stained as this dye stains horribly & is very hard to get off. Also if you have already damaged, thin or unhealthy hair I'd definitely stay FAR AWAY from any SPLAT as it's hard on your hair for sure and damages it a decent amount. All in all to each their own, if you like it, you like it, however it's definitely not for all that's for sure!!

This product's coloring is amazing, The only thing I'm able to complain about is the fact that the color only lasts a couple of washes then it will start to fade and but honestly, that comes with any coloring system I've used with brighter colors. It's beautiful coloring, just make sure before you decide to dye your hair you know that you're going to have to dye it at least once a month to keep your color beautiful, if not you will lose the beautiful color! But the coloring it's self is amazing, and I'd choose it over anyother bright coloring system bought over the counter forsure!

I didn't use the bleach that came with the box so that probably led up to the results that I got. When I rinsed the dye out, it completely stained my shower blue. And the back of my neck, along with the rest of my back and my feet. You must rinse the color immediately if it touches your skin otherwise you will look like a smurf. The color did nothing to my hair that I wanted. My original hair color was a dark brown, and this dye made it black. But it completely stained my scalp bright blue!!! The roots of my hair are blue as well but the rest is just black. The rinsing process took forever, the dye just kept coming out and after 20 minutes of rinsing, the water still didn't run clear. Completely ruined my scalp and roots.

I had used this in High School and I hated it, I was really upset about how the bleach fried my hair I had to get my ends chopped off they were so bad. The color itself was okay, but I wish the bleach didn't damage my hair. I switched to a different brand from Sally Beauty becasue this one is very damaging to your hair and you really do get what you pay for. that being said I do not recommend to anyone this brand of hair dye.

Only reason I gave it a 3 is because it is misguided. For someone aiming for silver hair this is by far the easiest product that will get you to it. I needed a toner and this was the only "OTC" product I was able to find without breaking the bank.

I have hair that is a little bit past my shoulders so I got 2 boxes. I am really impressed with the fact that it takes about a month before the color starts to fade or at least in my hair. I did highlights. The only thing that I disliked is how messy it is. Be sure to wear some old clothing that you don't mind getting stained as it does not wash out easy my bathtub was blue for a few months.

These dyes don't last forever, but while they do last they're absolutely gorgeous. The Blue Envy/Pure Sapphire were the second dyes I used from Splat, the first being the Raspberry red. The colour is super great and fades beautifully. It lasted me a few months before I had to dye it again and that was with me washing my hair every other day. It dried out my hair a bit, but with a good leave in gel it went away in a few days.

I love splat and have used a few different colors. The blue envy is by far my favorite.. The color is vibrant and shows really well on darker hair. Ill use again!!
