Spencer Forrest Inc. Toppik Hair Building Fibers - Covers up bald spots —

Once upon a time I had thick naturally curly hair.  After my 3rd child was born that was no longer the case.  My hair started thinning at the top and a bit on the sides. This was devastating to me.  Here I was a 40 year old woman whose part line was a little to large.  For years I tried product that claimed to thicken hair but they didn't help.  I even had a consultation for a hair transplant, but they could not guarantee that it would work for me.  My alternatives were hair pieces or getting expensive hair extensions.  Until now.

I know my introduction paragraph sounds like a commercial but this actually comes from me and from my own experience, and I can not tell you how happy I am that I discovered Toppik.  I actually saw Toppik on the Rachael Ray show, a man tried it out for the "Human Lab" segment of her show, and the man was impressed with it, and so was I.  So I immediately looked it up on the internet, and bought my self a bottle. It comes in various sizes but I bought the standard size .36 oz bottle for $21.95 plus shipping.  I have not seen it at any stores, so as far as I know you can only get it on line, but if anyone knows a store that sells it let me know.  Shipping was $5.95.

Toppik is basically made of keratin protein fibers.  These little fibers look like tiny little hairs and when you sprinkle them on to your hair they stick like little tiny magnets to your own hair and build up what looks like your hair on the top of your head.  Literally covering up bald spots and thinning areas on your skalp.  You can even us it on the sides of your hair if your hair is up and it will make your hair appear thicker.  It comes in several different colors so you are sure to find one that matches your hair.  If you can't for some reason you could always dye your hair to go along with the Toppik.

Not one person has caught on that I am wearing anything at all.  The top of my head looks very nice, healthy, and full when I am wearing this.  My husband and kids who would tell me if it looked bad could not believe what they saw and could not tell I had anything in my hair at all.  I told a couple of friends about that have thinning hair too, and they stared at my head and could not see the Toppik in there but were impressed that you could not see my scalp at all.

The container looks like a little bottle of talcum powder.  You just simply shake it on to your head that is all you do and it fills in.

It stays put for at least 8 hours.  I notice in the evening though after wearing it all day if I lay down on the couch or something it gets a little blotchy and you can tell there is something there.  But that is after an entire days use, and probably rubbing it on the couch.

It washes out easily when you shampoo your hair.  You will probably want to wash your hair everyday and reapply.

They also have a spray you can use to insure it will stay put, but I didn't know about that spray until I was using it for 3 weeks and it stays put just fine with out the spray.  Just don't sprinkle it too close to your forehead, if you do that it can get a little powdery looking there and will give it away.  It is no big deal though, just kind of brush it off and it is fine.

It has not stuck to my clothing, or pillows.  So you don't have to worry about little specks on your clothes, it only sticks to hair.  They say you can go in the rain with it, but I don't know if I would feel comfortable doing that.  I did get splashed at a party last weekend from a pool though right on my head, and I was worried, but everything was fine.

Look at the pictures I provide here, they are Google images not mine.  I am to embarrassed to show my before.  But you can see from the lady in the picture how this works.  Before I actually used this I would have thought this picture was doctored, but after using it I believe it real.

Toppik has literally been life changing for me.
