I absolutely love my Speed Queen Washing Machine. I love that I can chose the water level, the water temperature and even do an extra rinse if I want to. I have no problem with getting enough water in the machine to dissolve powdered detergent, which was a problem I had with a previously owned "energy effecient" machine. There is an eco-cycle for those that want it, however. The cycle time is relatively quick too, approximately 30 minutes. The construction of this machine is heavy duty. It is much more solid feeling...much heavier to move around than previously owned machines. The warranty is excellent too--10 years! My previous energy efficient machine gave out after 3 years with no warranty left. Love, love, love this! Highly recommend!

Excellent product made with quality parts that gets the job done. Even though a bit expensive is highly recommended as the best washing machine I have ever had. Energy Efficiency This washing machine gets your clothes done quickly and spins them so well they are already pretty dry when put into the dryer. Cleaning Time Very quick at least to me. I can go do something else for a bit and next thing you know the wash is done spinning already. Performance It does a great job and gets your clothes clean. Haven't had any problems at all. It makes a little bit of noise, but all washers do. Ease of Use Dials are simple and explanatory. Just turn dials which I like better. Don't care for digital as it can go out and would be more expensive to replace. Design Simple and only comes in white, but very good quality with stainless steel inside. It is so clean looking after a wash, no residue. Durability Again a simple look, but made with metal gears instead of the usual cheaper plastic gears. We got a 3 year warranty when purchasing.

Purchased this after exhaustive research, and using one at a local Laundromat after my 19 yo Maytag quit. Love the large tub, and that I can adjust the water level, and throw in a forgotten piece of clothing. It's old school, only better. Energy Efficiency Gets your clothes wet, which is a good thing. Cleaning Time Quick cycles. Performance Stainless steel tub, clothes come out clean. Ease of Use tons of options for water levels. Design Dial controls!

Bought this Speedqueen washing machine after thoroughly reviewing the current market of choices. I was replacing a 2 year old Whirlpool machine that cost more to fix than what it was worth. I chose this machine because of the features, construction, warranty, and numerous reviews from other owners. First of all, this is an American made product. Some of the other features are a hot water cycle, (with real hot water), a full tub of water if I want, manual controls that I can restart or stop a cycle anytime, a lid that opens and closes at all times during the cycle, and an extra rinse feature. The included manufacture warranty is 3 year comprehensive with extended warranty for the stainless steel tub and the transmission. There are no bells or whistles with this machine but it does what it is supposed to do; get the clothes clean! One year later, I am happy to say that it is still working and doing a great job!
