Special Kitty cat food —

Well, the saying "you get what you pay for"  pretty much sum it up!  Special Kitty brand food is made up of mostly grains and filler.  There really is not much real meat in this food-and cats are carnivores after all, they NEED real meat to be healthy!  I own 5 indoor cats and a dog and live on a fixed income, so I am all about saving money.  But this stuff really does not save you money in the long run.  This food is cheap and made my cats' fur dull.  They did not really like the flavor very much and it seemed to all go straight through them.  I switched to a slightly more expensive brand name cat food and now my cats seem healthier.  Their coats are shiny and they seem to be able to digest the brand name food much better.  The bottom line is, don't buy this stuff if you want happy healthy cats.

When in doubt, check the ingredients list. Special Kitty food is full of corn.
