When I first got my kitty, I wanted to get Kitty litter that I could scoop easily and that wouldn't smell. I first went with an expensive brand and I loved how well it worked. When I went to buy more, the kind I had bought was gone, so I decided to take a chance and try this brand. The kitty litter looks identical to the more expensive brand, clumps up just as nicely, and leaves the litter box smelling clean and fresh. The only negative thing I can say is that I preferred the packaging of the more expensive brands, but not enough to offset the price difference. This is definitely a product I will continue using. Moisture Absorption Moisture clumps right away and stays together. Ease of Cleaning Clumps up very nice for easy scooping and cleaning. Odor Control There is never a bad smell. The crystals give a nice, fresh smell. Ease of Use Very easy to use. I gave it a nine simply because the bag can be a bit big to handle-- I often put the kitty litter in a small tub so I don't worry about spilling.

My aunt recently moved into my house and has two cats. This was the kitty litter she was buying for her cats. I have to say it has to be the worst kitty litter there is to buy. My entire house smelt like cat urine. We clean the kitty litter boxes every single night and the smell still would be in my house. Every morning I would have to open every single window in my house to keep the smell down. I was so frustrated I almost told my aunt she would have to either get rid of her cats or move out because I could not stand the smell. I have a 3 story house and the smell was everywhere. I finally found a kitty litter that did the job but it sure as heck was not this one. We wasted alot of kitty litter every day because it would not adsorb the urine. It did not keep the smell down it didnt do anything it was suppose to do. Moisture Absorption This kitty litter overall is horrible. It barley adsorbed anything and the bottom of the litter box would be soaked with urine. Ease of Cleaning Every night we would have to throw the whole box of kitty litter away because it was not working. Odor Control This has to be the worst kitty litter for odor control. My house smelt like urine until I changed to a different kitty litter. Ease of Use This is the worst kitty litter on the market.

*Special Kitty Crystals Blend Scoop for Litter 4 Multiple Cats * We started out buying the expensive brand names of the clumping cat litter. I always thought that the generic kinds wouldn't clump good enough.I was also very worried that it would leave a aweful smell. We have two cats that use a large box which has a third part that is like a strainer. I was going to the store to pick up our regular brand but it was gone then i saw Special Kitty Crystal Blend Scoop 4 Multiple Cats. I decided to give it a try as it looked as close to the regular litter we buy. I have never bought another litter again!! It clumps just as well as the others if not better. And that aweful smell is gone. We clean out the cat litter box every morning so the cats will have a fresh and clean litter box each morning to wake up to and ill tell you that because it works so well we dont have to clean it again till the next morning and like i said i have two cats. I would recommendation this product for its clumping action as well as it having such great odor control.Also it is not so pricey. It inexpensive compared to other litters out there and you get more in the bag or box as well. The only problem I have with this litter is the store is always out. I have to get it right when there shipment arrives or else youll miss out. It seems as though its a popular brand around here.

We were buying the more expensive brand names of clumping cat litter. I had just assumed the generic brands would not clump so well and leave smelly pieces behind that couldn't be picked up with the scooper. My husband who, coincidentally, is the one who scoops the cat box, told me I should cheap out one time and go with Special Kitty. I was hesitant because I am really sensitive to that ammonia urine smell. We have two cats that use a large box. My husband says Special Kitty clumps just as well as the others and, as for me, I do not notice a lingering ammonia smell. The cat box gets scooped at 0530 every day so the cats will hold off if it's around that time and wait for the fresh box. So even with waste in there all day long I do not smell it. My husband is the recommendation for the clumps, and me for the odor control. Another plus is that there is no big dust cloud when you fill the box. It comes in big bags and is quite economical. The bag says the "crystals" are for odor control. Maybe it's not just a sales gimmick. If you scoop every day, this may be a better economoical solution for you.

I used to buy the name brand cat litter and then I decided to try the store brand cat litter and I started to use Special Kitty Cat Litter. It is very inexpensive and it does the job. My cats don't notice the difference but I do when it comes to my check book. It was getting very expensive to buy cat litter so I had to try something and I did it was cheaper cat litter. The smell of the cat litter is plesent and I don't notice a strong smell of dirty cat litter. I do change my cat letter every fre days and I know that also helps. But this cat litter is great for the price I will never go back to buying more expensive cat litter again. Most people think that if you get cheap cat litter you will have the litter box smell and I was one of them people I was wrong. I am glad that I gave Special Kitty Cat Litter a try and I do have multiple cats so I go through litter often. This is great. There is not a lot of dust in the litter when I change it the more expensive litter that I used had more dust. Bottom line you can save money and still have a litter box that smells fresh.

I was skeptical about buying a "cheap" kitty litter, because my litter box is in the bathroom right next to my bedroom, and I don't want to smell that mess all night while I'm sleeping, but surprisingly enough, I don't smell a thing!  This is probably one of the best kitty litters we have ever bought!  Compared to the size and price of the more "expensive" brands, this is WAY better and CHEAPER!  We bought a 28lb box for half the price we could have bought the "name brand" litter for and got twice as much litter!  This is one product where you don't necessarily get what you pay for, it's amazing!

I am very skeptical when it comes to cat litter. I have two cats and live in a ranch house so the litter box is in my master bathroom attached to my bedroom. This cat litter clumps quickly and really does absorb the smell of cats urine. I wish it absorbes the smell of the cat feces a little better. The price is very economical comprared to the other larger brands and the amount in the box is also larger then the other brands. Price wise it is a smart purchase that does work and it is very easy to clean the litter box out. With two cats it is a bit difficult to keep a litter box smelling perfect at all times but over all this brand does do the job and the crystals work pretty efficiently. I would love to see this brand come out with the controls both feces and urine as I believe arm and hammer just came out with. The other most annoying factor for cat litter is the dust created. With this brand I do notice a huge difference in the dust control.

I was shopping with a friend of mine and was about to buy my regular brand of cat litter when she suggested that I try Special Kitty Crystals Blend Scoop Litter for multiple cats. She told me that it was the litter that she used and she loved it. Since it was quite a bit cheaper than my usual brand I went ahead and bought it. That was the last time I will ever purchase this litter! The smell after the first day was so bad I had to clean the litter boxes again and switch back to my usual brand of litter. The Special Kitty litter doesn't clump well either. The clumps fell apart when I tried to scoop them. This litter didn't turn out to be a bargain at all for me. I don't like my house smelling like the litter box and it did when I used this litter. Maybe if you're lucky enough to have a basement to keep your litter box in then this litter might be good enough but I have mine in the back hallway and this litter just doesn't work for me and my cats.

I switched from the more expensive cat litters thinking it would work the same. Special Kitty has decent clumping, great for multiple cats. But I have three cats and odor protectant isn't its highest quality. Which to me is an important quality to me. I think I'll stick to the more expensive brands.
