Bose Companion 2 speaker — Its awesome. for the price we pay, its like a lottery cause it gives the best sound quality, the clarity is too good. — It works fine with ipods. I also play it with my blackberry mobile and also the laptop. I will give Dual this much..... for a really inexpensive outdoor speaker, they aren't too shabby. With most cheaper brands, you get what you pay for......tin can sound. With these Dual speakers, you actually get a pretty nice sound range, without alot of distortion. — — On the flipside, if you are looking for a good quality speaker, this isn't it! For two years, now, my partner and I have been going into the Bose store at the local mall, and sampling the goods. They make great sound systems. We have a set of Bose bookshelf speakers, which are very nice, but it'd be nice to have a full-on sound system to go with our 40" HD tv. I have these speakers from my aunt from Colorado. I think its the speakers that are packaged with her purchased pc years ago. It stayed unused for a month with me because im much happy with my other pc speaker. Then came a small party. I have to use my "other" speakers on the living room so i have nothing to use on my pc. Acoustic research has made excellent portable sound as easy as caring a portable radio. We use this speaker by the pool and it delivers clear crisp wireless sound throughout our backyard. I use this speaker when I mow the lawn and the music is clear above the the sound of the mower. It makes mowing the lawn go faster because I can rock and roll while I mow!
