My husband and I spent the last night of our Seattle trip up here. We opted to go about an hour before sunset for fun of experiencing it day and night. The sunset was incredible. I got tons of great shots of the sun shimmering across Elliot Bay. There is a coffee shop with all types of drinks, sweets and sandwiches at the top to enjoy. Make sure to check out the gift shop on the bottom floor. It is seriously the biggest gift shop for a monument that I've ever seen. Lots of beautiful gifts including the usual postcards, posters, tshirts and even hand-blown glass and sculptures. Even the walk back to the car was beautiful. A must see.
