Cheap in every sense of the word

Overall
Rated 1 out of 5

This 8" mattress sleeps like a cutting board for the first few days and then after about a week is like sleeping on a large kitchen sponge. I slept on a Tempurpedic for five years. This bears NO comparison:  there is NO memory in the memory foam.  My back ached worse than on my worn-out Tempurpedic.  I am hoping to be able to return it (though since it arrives "compressed," not sure I'll be allowed to return it).  If I can't return it, I will take delight in cutting it up for discard.  I learned my lesson the hard way:  you get what you pay for, and this mattress is cheap in every sense of the word!

Still Amazed at this Bed!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

Not long ago, I was on Walmart.com looking for some information on something. We are not Walmart shoppers and I wasn't familiar with the site. Somehow I ended up seeing they had mattresses, which I didn't know. I started reading the reviews and was shocked.

Now, we needed a new mattress and box spring. This is something I had been putting off as I hate shopping for furniture, I really do. I hate pushy salesman. The idea of going in a furniture store makes me ill. So after reading all the reviews for all the sizes, I ordered this in queen size. Along with a high steel frame. Of course, then I had to tell my husband as I did the site to store to save on shipping. He wanted me to cancel, but...

Different - but in a good way!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I have had this mattress a couple of weeks now and am very satisfied with it. Set up is easier with two people. Be careful not to punture the clear plastic wrap before you get the bed into position and unfolded. I put mine into a california queen size waterbed frame. The bed does need a couple of days or more to fully expand and although there was some initial odor it didn't last long. It did rise 12 inches, a few inches above the side rails. I'd rate the mattress firm to medium firm. One feels more like they are "on" the mattress than "in" the mattress. I am quite pleased with it so far and consider it a bargain compared to some other brands. If you want a plush mattress this may not be for you. The zip-on cover does the job but I'd recomend putting a regular mattress cover over it anyways before applying layers of sheets. That being said I'd strongly recomend it to those who prefer a firm mattress.

spa sensations memory foam mattress 12 inch

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

this mattress gives a new meaning to sleep!! before purchasing this mattress, me and my wife had slept on many spring mattresses and some of the air filled mattresses that where suppossedly perfect. but the result was always the same constant tossing and turning and morning pains that didnt exsist the night before. since getting this memory foam mattress our sleepless nights have vanished. every morning is now a much more pleasant experience. i can wake up more ready for my busy day or work, child raising, and basic chaos of life. before purchasing this spa sensations 12 inch memory foam mattress back pain and random aches and pains where the norm. now i no longer fear waking up. my back pain has quickly repaired itself, before it hindered my work severly, though not heavy labor my previous back pain made a simple task a possible bad day. my children even take naps on it during the day, and beg to sleep on it at night.

Great mattress!!!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

We decided to buy the Spa Sensations Theratouch 12-inch Memory Foam Mattress because it was areally good price and it had some awesome reviews. The main complaint we, my husband and I, readabout was the mattress being to firm. In fact, the reviews and price were so good that we purchased aking size and two twins. They came vacuumed packed and as soon as we cut open the packaging it wassealed in, the mattress started to grow. We immediately put it on our platforms to hold the mattressand within 10 minutes or so, the mattresses were to their full size. We have a fan over our bed so welet that run for a couple of hours for the smell. We used it that night. There was a slight smell still but byd...

Spa Sensations 12' Memory Foam Matress is Firm, But Comfy

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

This is the first memory foam matress I have ever purchased. I was a little nervous about it because the queen size matress comes in a box that is only 2 foot by 2 foot by 4 foot. After opening the box and bag that held the mattress it immediatelly expanded to a queen size matress of 9 inches. After about half an hour it was 10 inches and within another hour it was the full 12 inches.

The first time I got on the mattress I was quite concerned because it felt very stiff. I like firm matresses, but this reminded me of a thin mattress on top of wood in a camper. Within seonds of laying on it my worries lifted as I felt (side sleeper) my hip almost melt into the matress. The matress quickly mol...

This mattress is one of the best purchases I ever made.

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I saw a Tempurpedic mattress at the state fair and signed up for more information.  I was interested in the free trial.  Then I found that while I can return it, it was still going to cost me about $200.  To me, this wasn't a "free" trial at all.  I noticed a Spa Sensations memory foam mattress at Walmart but they didn't have the size I needed, a California King.  I wanted to convert my waterbed.  I contacted Spa Sensations directly and was told they had California King matresses on the Walmart website.  When I looked, they weren't listed so I contacted Spa Sensations again.  They contacted Walmart and had them added.  I ordered an 8 inch thick mo...

Good for an apartment or short-term, not for permanence

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

When a decent memory foam mattress from a good company sells for $2000(Queen), and this one sells for $300, you gotta think that there's a catch.

I bought this after my first job, as a cheap alternative. I slept very well on it for about 3 years, but now the memory in the foam is gone and it's become like sponge.

So, its good for a short-term use, but after a couple of years or maybe 3 years, you sink in like you're sleeping on sponge.

Not as soft as samples, stiff foam underneath

Overall
Rated 2 out of 5

Has 4" Memory Foam and 4" of STIFF Foam Underneath. Makes the bed a little firm. I like Soft beds and figured memory foam would be pretty soft, but this one is not as soft as others I have felt, Or as soft as the little samples next to the box. Me and my wife complain of often backaches after getting out of bed.

Home sweet home

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

Since most of us spend between 1/4 to 1/3 of our lives in bd I figured I'd make mine comfortable.  This mattress topper did the trick.  It is so comfortable that my old mattress feels like a high end new model.  I just love it!

Seems to be a good mattress

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I had an old mattress and decided to purchase this one. It seems to hold heat in so if you don't like to be warm when sleeping it is not for you. The first night I slept on it, it was like sleeping on a cloud after the horrid inner spring mattress I had.

Spa Sensations 12-inch Memory Foam Mattress is a dream.

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I switched to this memory foam mattress from an overpriced and awful Spring Air. I ordered it the queen online from Walmart.com for around $370 after tax - a great deal. Pickup (site-to-store) was hassle-free. The mattress is comfy but very supportive. I won't be switching back to a traditional mattress.

Best night sleep ever. Amazing

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I bought this mattress based on the great reviews.  It is truly amazing.  We had a high quality pillow top and decided to buy a new mattress after 10 years. I can honestly say that, after the first few nights of getting used to the new feel of the mattress and waiting for the odour to dissipate, we have had the best nights sleep we have ever had.  Best money I ever spent.
