Southwest Airlines Review

I Love SOUTHWEST AIRLINES!  I love that they are rarely late and they are reasonable!   I fly SWA every chance I get and promote this airline to my friends every time they ask what airline I use to travel. 

 HOWEVER... I would like to caution anyone who plans on booking based off the 'special offers' SWA promotes for extra rapid rewards credit.  I recently started booking my rental car thru SWA as well once I saw that I could get triple credits by using Alamo rental car.  (I have always used Enterprise).   I rented the car and it was an 'OK' experience.  I debated whether it was worth it to do the same two weeks later and felt that it would be great getting the extra credits.   However...I have had to call SWA's rapid reward center to try and get the credits posted.  It has been over a month and still no difference.

   I also took advantage of the new flights to and from Boston for DOUBLE credits.  I was informed that I needed to register (which I did and they acknowledged) but it appears that I booked a day before the actual date listed where you can get the bonus.  I fly out once a month.  I normally fly direct flights to Boston using Jet Blue or Airtran.  I went ahead and booked CONNECTING flights using SWA and now I realize the layovers were wasted time.   After flying so often and flying Southwest for so long...you would think they would honor the promotion credits. NOT SO...very surprised at the customer service person's attitude as well.  This is probably the only disappointment that I have had related to this airline.   All this to say....be prepared to have to work a little for what is promised.   Thanks for listening and hope this is helpful to others!
