South of France Mango Soap —

I love finding all natural bar soaps that have a wonderful scent.  It seems like everyone uses liquid soap now and bar soap will one day be extinct; but I think they are fun and old-fashioned!  Although I don't use them in the shower to cleanse my body, I love them for hand soap and I seek out unique ones for my guest and private bathrooms.

South of France Mango Soap is a huge 8.8 ounce bar soap.  It is a bright orange color and smells amazing.  It is made with all natural ingredients and packaged in biodegradable and recyclable packaging.

There are so many things I love about this soap.  I love the scent, the high-quality and all natural ingredients and the fact that it isn't tested on animals.

If you like fruity scents, you would love this soap.  It smells tropical, fruity and just delightful.  When I wash my hands, it lathers very nicely and leaves my hands feeling clean and not dried out.  I have a feeling this soap is going to last a very long time.  It is so big, it is definitely going to last at least nine months!

South of France also makes the following bar soaps:

  • Shea Butter
  • Lime Basil
  • Lavender
  • Green Tea
  • Honey
  • Lemon Verbena
  • Acai Pomegranate
  • Gardenia
  • Almond
  • Rosemary Mint
  • Lemon Camomile
  • Tea Tree Sandalwood

Ingredients: palm, olive and/or coconut oil, shea butter, mango butter, mineral pigment or vegetable color, natural fragrance and/or essential oils.

**Until July 31st 2009, use the promotion code MANGO to receive 20% off your purchase of South of France bar soap!  Visit  Goodhealthnaturalproducts.com/shop-sof-bar-soaps.html to get your discount.  There is free shipping on orders $30 and up.**

The Scoop!

I highly recommend this soap to anyone who enjoys fruity, moisturizing bar soaps.  I would definitely buy it again, although it is so big, I won't need to for quite a while.

Definitely my favorite soap of ALL the soaps I have used...and I've used a lot :)

All the scents sound so delicious! I'd never heard of this before but I'm intrigued enough to give them a try. Really nice review. :)

I just wanted to let you know that someone from the company contacted me because of my review and is offering a discount on the soap until the end of July. I updated the bottom of my review to reflect how to use the coupon code!

I know you like the shea butter liquid, but they also make a bar soap in the shea butter formula.

Great because I really wangt to try out that Mango soap and I didn't see any hard soaps or body wash at the organic market where I shop. 20% off? That's awesome! I'm going to stock up.

Also, I wish they made deoderant and perfume in the same scent as the South of France Shea Butter body lotion. I just found out about the website so I'm going to get the body wash in that same scent!

I just discovered the South of France body lotion and I absolutely LOVE the way the shea butter one smells. It smells so fresh and gentle. I slather it all over after showering and my boyfriend has takes long inhales from my neck after I put it on. It smells fresh and sweet without smelling purfumy (not sure if that's a word). Just think, white, fluffy clouds, spring morning sunlight, those flowers that smell like pudding, clean fresh pillow cases, anything light, pleasant and slightly sweet and that it the smell of the South of France body lotion in Shea Butter.

Thank you for your nice review of our soap. You are correct, they do last a GOOD long while and it will smell as wonderful the very last use as the first.

Another winner! I would love to try their Almond "flavor".

I'm just the opposite. I use bar soap in the tub and liquid soap in decorative dispensers for washing hands. I think the big trend with liquid handsoap originated for sanitation purposes. Many don't want to share bar soap with others and the dispensers compliment decor. This sounds like a good product and lots of variety.

These sounds great! Where do you get them?
