I have done weight loss counseling for 23 years.  I love the South Beach Diet! It is easy to do, there is no problem finding the right foods when eating out and the weight loss is quick.  The first two weeks are the most restrictive, but the quick weight loss is worth it.  And because protein is so filling, I am never hungry when I'm going this diet.  I do South Beach myself to maintain my weight and to take off a few pounds when I need to.  The best part of the South Beach Diet for me is not having any problems when I'm going out to eat - which I do often.
