South Beach Diet Reviews

Many people confuse the South Beach diet with the Atkins diet. In the first 2 weeks all sugar and carbs are cut out but afterwards, certain "good carbs" can be added. So this diet is much healthier than Atkins. The first two weeks are hard but worth it! Once you get through the first two weeks, the rest is much easier. If you eat a donut, you dont have to scrap your entire diet, just continue. The South Beach diet book will start you on your way. I suggest reading the entire book so that you are informed and understand why the diet is working and how it is healthy.

The only reason I tried South Beach Diet was on the recommendation of my doctor.  I took a blood test that showed I was at risk for diabetes, and he told me I had to change the way I ate to avoid diabetes, and recommended the South Beach Diet.  It changed my life!  I no longer have problems with my blood sugar levels.

Depending on your own familiarity with your body and proper eating habits, you can start this diet at the beginner, moderate or super modified levels. The South Beach Diet was great!  The meals are awesome.  I learned to cook alot of things with natural herbs.  I also learned how to eat proportioned and balanced.  But it is very time consuming to prepare the meals and it did get somewhat on the expensive side.  But all in all, very worth it.                                                                                                                                                                                             ....
