The South Beach Diet is a healthy, safe, fun way to lose weight or just maintain your current weight (in which case you would follow a different phase). It was very easy to transition into and stick with for a long time. I ended up losing about 30 lbs and I felt incredible! It was the highest my self esteem had been in a really long time. I tried the diet originally to lose weight before prom. However, now I am continuing it just to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I highly recommend this program, especially if you want to feel good about yourself the whole way through. It never gets boring because there are so many options for you to choose from when it comes to eating. It is especially easy now with all of the sugar free products that have arrived on the market.
