South Beach Diet —
A friend told me she was trying a new diet and wanted a buddy to do it with her. I agreed to look into it since I don't believe in dieting but eating right and exerciesing. After reading the book and seeing the many health benefits, I decided it would be worth the effort since I have many health problems in my family line. It was difficult in the diet stage (2 wks) but I have been feeling wonderful and have lost 24 lbs in about 12 weeks.
Since I already try to practice good eating habits, I found the information in the book to be a wonderful compliment to my routine. I feel much more educated about food and it has spurred me on to looking further into the damage caused by eating the wrong foods.
I personally found the book to be a worthwhile investment and plan on purchasing other cookbooks.
