About Soul Catcher: A Journal to Help You Become Who You Really Are (Spiral-bound)
This beautiful spiral bound hardcover journal is broken up into several sections that ask questions about your life and emotions and leave space for you to fill in the answers. All sorts of areas are covered from worries to people you are angry at to your feelings about the past. A simple line or question is printed and you just fill in what you are feeling at the moment. You can skip around or fill this out from start to finish. It is amazing how little time we actually take to think about things until we are confronted with the subject and sit down and write down our feelings.
This book/journal offers no advice nor does it give you any guidelines. It simply prompts you to think about things that you may have stashed in the back or your mind or that you may not want to face. By sitting down and writing down these things, you will feel less burdened and get to know yourself much better. I sometimes am amazed at the things I write and feel. I try to stay positive and not dwell on the negative but, in this journal, I can moan, whine, and express my anger and hurt in a positive, understanding manner. I am literally learning a lot about myself as I fill out this amazing journal. I have always been a journaler but these questions and lines prompt me to go where I may not normally go when journaling and, as a result, teach me about myself.
My Viewpoint
With the 136 pages, this seven and a half by nine inch journal gets right down to my soul. My only complaint is that there isn't enough room at times to write all I want to about a subject. If they would have added about 30 more pages of space, this would be a 5 star journal. I am only going with 4 because, once I start to emote, I hate being stuck unable to continue due too space constraints. Still, this is a great book for all and I highly recommend it.
