Once we brought my newborn home, I noticed the pacifier she came home with, a Soothie, had a web address on it. Curious, I checked it out. I found a binky called a WubbaNub. Basically, it is the same Soothie, she had, but it had a little stuffed animal attached to the end of it! I thought it was cute, but also practical! I could see how that little animal on the end would make it much easier to find the binky, especially in the middle of the night! Imagine, no more desperate searches in the dark at 2 am for a little green pacifier!!
The price was about the same as your typical toy, $10.00, and got the regular shipping for it (as opposed to overnight and expidited shipping). The grand total was $14.99! They had four animals to choose from: duck, horse, frog, and a red dog. I ordered the duck, and about a week later, I received it. I LOVED IT!! Everyone has complimented me on such a unique binky! And as I assumed, it was SO MUCH EASIER to find in the middle of the night and also around the house!!
That newborn is now 3 1/2 yrs old, and has since given up the WubbaNub, but her little sister, 1 1/2 yrs old, sucks her WubbaNub all the time!! I have had to replace it twice in the last 3 1/2 yrs, but it is OK because I LOVE my WubbaNub!!
The Soothie WubbaNub is a fantastic binky!! And I don't have to search for a tiny Soothie pacifier! Also, my baby loves holding the duckie when she is sucking on her WubbaNub, so that is like an extra comfort!
I *highly* recommend the Soothie WubbaNub for your baby =] It is the best $14.99 I have ever spent!!
