— Prior to my son's birth, I had this mindset against pacifiers and if my child ever got attached, I would just take it away anyway... — — Well, I have my son now and he's 15 months, still attached to his precious binky. I can't take it away because he relies on it so much and when he discovers that it has disappeared, he'll bring down the house with his outrage. I'm still a bit against it, but it brings comfort to my little boy. — — —…

My first child was hooked on this pacifier, so I didn't think twice about getting this brand of pacifier again for my second child. I also got the Soothie brand bottles, which she loves too. — Pros: — Buy these online from the website printed right on the pacifier - or buy them at the store - ie: Babies R Us or Target and skip the shipping. — Website offers the "Wubbanub" which is a Soothie pacifier attached to a small stuffed animal. This makes it easier for baby to find her Soothie on her own. Also gives her something to hold onto while she's sucking. — Comes in…

parenting a toddler
We were not given any type of pacifier from the hospital, so I had a pile of various ones to choose from. My daugther didn't seem to be very picky, until we got a green Soothie in the package with a Soothie bottle. My daughter has not used another binky since!! We've tried the pink ones, blue ones and green ones. She dislikes them all but the green, and likes to carry one in each hand plus the one in her mouth!! We've been so desperate at times to find them after she's thrown them (because they bounce!) that we've had to make a walmart or target run in the middle of the night (yes, we were…

The hospital gave our son to use the pacy while he was in NICU to keep him calm and relaxed. It worked. The soft plastic makes it easy of the baby to hold it. We tried other pacies and he wouldn't take them or tried biting on the hard plastic handle. Some others were too big and he would gag on it. Easy to wash; just drop in some warm soap and water. This pacy is a must for nursing moms because it doesn't cause nipple confusion. This is always a great plus. They cost a little bit more them others but they really…

runnin' ragged ann
With my second child, the hospital doled out a freebie pacifier which I thought I wouldn't need. My first child had no interest in a pacifier. I was glad that I kept it. When I went back to work, the sitter couldn't get the baby to settle down and the only thing that would calm him was the Soothie Pacifier that they gave out! Luckily they have a website where more may be purchased -- http://www.soothie-pacifier.com/. They also sell something called a Wubbanub, a stuffed animal that attaches to the pacifier. The baby holds the stuffed animal and in…

loving this product, Experienced Parent
When I had my second daughter I offered her the gerber nuk pacifier first. That is the one that I had wanted for her. She didn't want much to do with it. So, while at the hospital I asked the nurse to please see if they had the soothie pacifier that they used to hand out when I had my first daughter. — — My daughter took to the soothie just as fast as my other daughter. The hospital offers a curved soothie that doesn't cover the nose. It's a better version but this version is okay too. The one piece design makes this pacifier a very clean solution. Plus, nipple breakage is not…

I have to admit, I was never one to give out pacifiers. My fifth child was the one who drove me to using one. She spent close to a week wanting to nurse constantly, and I just couldn't handle it anymore. One day when my dh came home with a "nunner" and she took right to it. Let me sleep at night and gave me some peace. We've managed to lose about a dozen so far, but luckily we can now find them at our grocery…

This pacifier was given free by the hospital. It was the only one my son would take, even at only a few days old. It was wonderful. The only problem with it was that it does not have an edge to easily attach a binkie clip to and therefore was easy to lose. Luckily they are available in local department stores to purchase if they get…

When I am running around and just go not have time to keep my little boy quiet this pacifier comes in handy. The second I put it in his mouth he is sound and happy. If he is happy then I am very happy. Because I have a moment to relax. Thank GOD! So I would invest in some Soothie Pacifiers to calm your adorable little baby down.…

I am an Anti Binky mom, but the doctors said some babys just need to suck and this natural shape of this binky should not interfer with nursing. My little girl HATED other pacifers, this was the only brand she liked. My only complaint is the cat hair sticks to it because of the material it is made…
