Great sound and a very good value, but the interface needs work.

This product is an overall great value, as you can typically find it around $50 or less.  The sound is very good, even with the stock headphones.  A lot of people complain that Sony's software makes it difficult to transfer music, but I think it works just fine.  I will say, though, that it is very hard to see the writing on the screen in direct sunlight.
