I bought this computer about eight months ago when my 5-year-old laptop's hard drive died for the second time. I was convinced that I was going to stay with the same brand I had before since my laptop had been fairly reliable. When my husband and I got to the store, we were drawn to the SONY laptops. They were a little more expensive but had slightly better features than the other brands so we spent a bit extra and went with the SONY. Though I don't have much experience with a lot of different laptop brands, I am so glad we did! So far, it has been an extremely sound investment. I bring it to work with me every day. It can handle multiple programs running simultaneously and does not get as warm as other laptops I have used. The picture and sound quality is amazing when I watch TV or movies on it. It is lightweight and fits easily in most of my bags which is great. When people ask me about my SONY, I reccomend the brand as my experience to date has gone beyond my highest expectations.
