I purchased my Sony VAIO VGN-NW235F/W on Black Friday 2009 and I've loved it ever since. I tend to play lots of apps/games at one time and all of my previous laptops would heat up really quick. The Sony VAIO, however, does not. It is quick, lightweight, and efficient.

this is my review of the Sony Vaio VGN-FW235J laptop. ok so i received this laptop last year for christmas, and there are some good and bad areas. as for size and weight, i can't complain. this vaio notebook weighs under 5 lbs, and has a large 16.4 inch lcd screen. as for graphics, the included intel graphics card can't always hold up to my expectations, with many fullscreen games lagging sufeciently. if you're not using this laptop for gaming purposes, however, the graphics are good quality. the lcd screen is a big plus for this laptop, with the large size and the fact that is has full 1080p HD quality.  as for other features of this laptop, mostly everything is exceptional. the keyboard is nicely spaced and comfortable to type on, it features surround sound quality speakers, and an exceptional battery life. one thing i am a little weary of is the touch pad. for the most part it is fine, but every once in awhile it will stop responding, with an easy but annoying fix of ignoring the touch pad for about 10 seconds. also, the touch pad buttons are very noisy, and they too can be fairly unresponsive. the battery is good quality, lasting a little over two hours. also, there is a double capacity battery available through sony.  if you want a laptop for regular home use or on the go, this would be a good choice, but for the price it can't hold up to the expectations that we want it to. i close with saying Mac all the way!

i have had my Sony Vaio VGN-NS235J Pentium dual core T3400 DVD Home Premium pc notebook with windows vista program for about six months and i love it. the sony laptop runs great never slow it comes with vaio care that help you keep up with your computers performance this is the best laptop i have ever owned it is really easy to use beautiful picture and sound makes going online a very pleasant experience i would highly recommend this laptop to all my family and friends it really is a good buy for the money gives me no problems at all i give this product a thumbs up i can watch movies it has a built-in dvd player i can burn and rip music which  i love to do it really is easy to work on this computer the sony brand is a brand i trust and hhave been using for years and i will continue to buy products from sony mainly due to the fact that every product i buy from sony is reliable and dependable and i never complain about the product breaking down
