In terms of performance, the N21S/W is let down somewhat. The main problem is being the amount of installed memory, which is onlg 1GB. When running vista, this is simply not enough. The machine seems to take an age to boot up, and loading applications takes much longer than it should. Even when you disable many of Vista's memory consuming features, the laptop still runs slowly. As proof of this, I recently upgraded to 2BG of ram, and the difference is astounding. With more memory, you are able to make the most of all the other components too, i.e. the CPU which was previously limited by the lack of memory. If you are looking to play games on this laptop, I must advise against it. The in built graphics chip will not support many games, and if it does, they will run poorly. This laptop then, is mainly for work related uses and internet surfing. There is plenty of hard drive space available, and the processor is quick enough to run multiple applications at once with ease. The pricetag though is quite hefty, and you must remember that you are paying a lot for the name; an Acer laptop of similar specifications will be several hundred pounds cheaper.

i dont feel its battery is lasting long enough. ususally after 2 hours, the battery is going to die in addition to its design and color, i have to say its quality is really satisfying cause it doesn't have any other problems like i had with my previous hp which sometimes the keyboard did not function well.

i bought this laptop about a year ago at best buy. there was a package going on at the time, this laptop with a printer for about 700. it was a great price at the time and the fact that it came a pearl white color sold me. i got this specifically for everyday use and i travel, so it was easy to carry around. it could be a little lighter though.  It's very easy to use, simple and anyone could use it. the screen is the perfect size. the "mouse" is easy to use. fast and plenty of storage space. great for students.  the first year gave me problems! the hard drive went bad and had to get a new one. i didn't have product protection, so it ran me about 500 to get it done and i had to reset the whole computer. there's something wrong with my battery charger. i have to position the plug connecting to a computer a certain way otherwise it won't charge.  it's a great computer,i was unfortunate to get one that had a few mishaps =( i'm still using it and i enjoy it the computer itself. i do recommend to students and everyday computer users(just make sure you get a product warranty)

I go online many times during the day because my kids always want to use the computer when I am home. I got this laptop because I wanted something that would be able to withstand a lot of use from my kids and other family members. This laptop has a nice webcam which has a great quality and I can see myself clearly when I use it to take videos that I am able to post online. The laptop also has a great touch pad that I can use to navigate the pointer around the screen page. The laptop is a little heavy when I lift it and it is nice to carry when I travel. This laptop has a fan on it so that it does not over heat when I use it. The battery in the laptop runs out fast when it is not charging so I usually have to carry back up batteries with me when I am traveling. The laptop has a nice hard drive that has a lot of memory on it so I can store all of the documents that I need to save. The screen on the laptop is sleek and easy to use for viewing everything that I need to look at.

This is a Sony and is made exceptionally well. I equate the Sony brand with quality products and this laptop delivers! This model looks like a Mac and works very well with Windows 7. However, if you are a POWER USER please check out some of the other exceptional laptops Sony offers. This model has an i3 processor, which is great for the basic functions I demand...such as e-mail, web browsing, and Microsoft Office 2010. This Model is extremely easy to use and is incredibly light for such a powerful machine. I use this product daily both at home and at school. All programs run smoothly whether you are using the battery or have it plugged in, and it multi-tasks beautifully. The battery life is surprisingly good...you will have plenty of charge to watch a movie, surf the web then finish any school projects you may have. As I stated I do not demand much from my Sony, but what I do ask the machine answers the call every time. If you are a multi-tasker this computer will suit you well. I constantly have i-tunes, several fire-fox browsers and Office 2010 applications running subcutaneously with NO lag in performance. Great product for an active individual wanting power to multi-task and a slim computer that can be brought easily wherever you need to go. Great computer!

I purchased this computer and am really satisfied. I am impressed with the speed and the video prosser. It helps with my work software, and is great for gameing. The price was worth it all the way. The screen looks like HD to me. I would recomand this computer to all of my friends, and anyone that asked about a computer.
