Its alright
The Sony Vaio E is a new series, yet another line in what's become a massive and somewhat confusing collection of Sony laptops. The chief selling points for the Vaio E are its affordable pricing, multimedia features, and Intel Core i3 and i5 processors, along with an aggressive color scheme. We've reviewed and generally liked many of Sony's multimedia Vaios, especially recent ones, so we were eager to see what the E could add to the equation.Large screen, good speakers, and great keyboard; zippy Core i3 processor.**The bad:** Mediocre battery life; boxy and bulky design. With Intel's new Core i3 processor, the Vaio EB1JFX/B is an affordable big-screen laptop that does many things well without much sacrifice.** ** I hate the track pad location. I wouldn't have bought it if I'd know what trouble it would cause.**:** The track pad is shifted a couple inches to the left. My left hand is always resting on the track pad, because there is not enough room on the left. When I drag with my right index finger, it thinks I want to zoom. What a hassle! Bad design!
