My husband got this Sony Vaio PCG-K33 in 2005 while in Korea.  It has served both of us well for home and his business purposes.  So far we have not taxed its memory capabilities between us.  It is easy to use, the visuals are excellent, and after going on 5 years, the battery seems fine, although we do usually have AC connection.  We have found it easy to travel with, and it works fine with our ATT wireless connection package. I'd recommend any Sony Vaio with XP.  I have yet to be convinced that Vista or more recent offerings from Microsoft can compare. We will definitely look first at Sony Vaia when we need to upgrade or replace this one.
