Sony VAIO Laptops Review

I bought a very expensive (and in my opinion) overpriced Sony Viao laptop several years ago.  I finally replaced it.  From the day I got it home, the fan was extremely loud and it ran really slowly.  I had it serviceds approximately 5 times in 3 years.  Thank god I purchased the extended warrenty because I would be out megabucks without it.  The battery died 3 times.  The current battery does not work at all but because the warrenty ran out, I will not be replacing it.  This computer runs very hot.  It is also very heavy compared to other laptops I have owned.  I bought this computer as an upscale laptop that will conduct all the functions that I wanted to use on it.  I honest planned on using it as a multi media player.  That never did work out.  I am not the only one that I know that has had trouble with a Sony Viao.  My sister in law owns one as well.  Hers is a year newer but she has the exact same problems with hers as I have had with mine.  In addition, the computer runs extremely slowly.
