I love the design, the amazing bright screen and it`s performance.
( I have had some problems with Vista though: needed new router because old one wouldn`t perform with Vista and my HP printer has some compatibility problems , as well)
First I thought it was very loud because of the fans, but I soon figured out that you can change the battery settings to save mode and the constant fan noise stops!
I am also very happy with the Sony Service, very responsive and helpful.

I've been through 3 laptops in the past 6 years, this will be my 4th. My first 2 were Toshibas, they were so-so, then I switched to MAC and while I enjoyed it, ut's really not campatible with much. I've always heard sony was a good brand so I thought I'd try it out. I've had this Vaio for over a year now and it's GREAT! The 1080 Full HD LCD screen is amazing! Itr really does make a difference when I'm watching TV. The HDMI port is also very nice because I can connect my computer to my tv and either watch videos or have a great HD way to show my whole family my vacation photos!It came with Windows...

I purchased my Sony Vaio at Best Buy approximatley 2 months ago at Best Buy. It is very user friendly. I am not computer smart at all and have been able to easily navigate all of the programs. The battery life is not what it was advertised. They said it should last 6 hours and I find it needs to be charged after 2 hours of use. There are also programs installed that I have no use for that continue to pop up on the screen each time I start it. That may have something to do with purchasing it from Best Buy and I am just unaware of how to close them permanently. The keyboard is fantastic...

It is a good computer. It has lots of rams. It is very versitile. it is very modern. It has great volume and good converse power.
