Sony VAIO FZ290 —
I bought my Sony Vaio FZ 290 after my Sony Vaio FS broke after beeing dropped.I love the design, the amazing bright screen and it`s performance.
( I have had some problems with Vista though: needed new router because old one wouldn`t perform with Vista and my HP printer has some compatibility problems , as well)
First I thought it was very loud because of the fans, but I soon figured out that you can change the battery settings to save mode and the constant fan noise stops!
I am also very happy with the Sony Service, very responsive and helpful.
They even send me a new harddrive because mine makes sometimes a clicking sound ( which some consider as normal).
The only complaint: the Fz is louder and gets hotter that the Vaio FS, but still much less than other laptops from different companies that I have seen.
I bought all my 3 Sony Laptops refurbished directly from Sony Style.
Compared to Dell, Compaq, or hp I have worked on, they are much more stylish,more joy to work on and perform better.
one star less because of it`s warmness on the palm rests
I can recommend Sony Laptops 100% .
