I bought my Sony Vaio about a year ago because I am working on my dissertation and wanted something portable to use while I was collecting data. I love this laptop. The graphics are great, and it's powerful. It doesn't take long at all to download files or other data. I haven't had any technical problems with it at all. The one disadvantage is that it runs Windows Vista, and there was no option on this particular model to get Windows XP. The computer is powerful enough to handle my large data files, and analyzing data on this computer is a breeze. It is lightweight, and looks really cool with it's shiny dark blue color. I have also played many games on this computer, and it handles the graphics quite well. It also comes with a built in webcam, which is a great little feature. The battery life is about two hours, which I think is average nowadays. The keyboard is a little tighter than others, so I had to spend some time getting used to it - it's not as spaced out as a full keyboard. The computer was a bit pricey, but I feel like I got a top of the line machine.
