These speakers are being used in a dedicated home theater as front channels but also used for music in the same room. The initial impression was simply "wow!" I've owned excellent speakers in various budget ranges and these have impressed me the most with their value. Sound is clean and fairly accurate - the requisite Norah Jones test reveals great detail in all instruments and her voice comes through with the appropriate depth and unique tone. There is some mid-range strain if you listen carefully but these sound incredible overall, an absolute bargain.
