Sony PlayStation - Portable (PSP) Console
Good graphics, great sounds, also functions as mp3 and movie player (awesome!)
Though the graphics are good, they can still be better. I love Power Stone (a Dreamcast classic) and I was excited to be able to take it with me. It even had Power Stone 2 in it (yay 2-in-1!)
I just wish the battery life a was longer. I hate it that I have to charge it so often or it'll just shut off on me. I would charge while playing while I'm home, but traveling is such as hassle. I have to go buy a car adapter for it.
Another thing is that some games (like the Sims) take FOREVER to load. It just freezes at times...

The unit's front panel is barely wide enough to include all the necessities: two Memory Card slots, two controller ports, two USB ports, and power and disc-eject buttons. Unlike the and the , even after the redesign the PS2 requires an add-on adapter if you want to use four controllers at the same time. (And since the older PS2 Multitap is one of the only accessories that won't work with the redesigned console, multiplayer fans will have to spring for a new one.) The front panel also includes a dedicated infrared receiver. This allows you to control the PS2's CD/DVD functionality using any one...

It is... More affordable $299 price; slimmer, more compact design with quieter operation. all games in high-definition. easy-to-use interface; doubles as a Blu-ray and upscaling DVD player; built-in Wi-Fi; 120GB hard drive; HDMI output with 1080p support. no external power supply. built-in Web browser; free online gaming service.
The bads... Lacks backward support for PS2 games. no infrared port means non-Bluetooth universal remotes aren't compatible; online gaming, media, and commerce options still aren't as fully developed as Xbox Live, though they're getting better.
Overall? With a smaller design,...

The Sony Playstation 2 is a video game console that has good graphics and a large selection of games to choose from. It can be a great way to spend family time because kids love video games! There are games that are suitable for children and adults to play together, but there are some games for this system that are not good for children. Be sure to check the ratings before you purchase it. If you don't have children, there is still a large selection of games in many variaties.
The Playstation 2 has many features that is great, and if you ever had the Playstation you can still play those games on...

The Playstation 2 is a really good game counsel. It has really good graphics and I love the games that it offers. Why pay couple hundred dollars more for a system that is about the same as the one before? I like the playstation 3, but I think I am going to wait till the price goes down before I get it. I like the playstation 2 because it has really good games and I like to play the games online. I like to play Socom 2 online and other war games as well. I like the playstation controller. I think the worst controller for any of the game counsels is the game cube controller. I dont like the shape,...

Our Sony PS3 cost us a pretty penny but it has been well worth it. I can't believe all of the things we can do with one machine. There's the obvious - video games. My husband and I love the racing games. My father-in-law also has a PS3 and loves the war games. I find the controller easy to use.
We have fallen in love with blu-rays! Having the PS3 meant saving money by not having to buy a separate blu-ray player. Our package from Best Buy did not come with a remote so we had to buy one separately from ebay.
We have the PS3 set up to interface with our computer and I love being able to...

Since then, the company's been modifying the PlayStation product line to better fit the competitive market landscape. As of August 2008, a new "bargain" PS3 is available with a larger, 80GB hard drive, and a "deluxe" model is due in November, doubling the capacity to 160GB. Both, however, lack backward compatibility with PS2 games and do not come with flash card readers. If those features are a must, it might be best to pick up the 80GB Metal Gear Bundle version on eBay while they're still out there.
If you don't want to opt for the new 160GB (that will also ship with ), the 80GB version reviewed...
