My son received this for Christmas last year because it was the latest fad.  I refused to buy it because of the price but he convinced his father to buy it.  After a couple of weeks, my son packed it up and played with his sisters' DS Lite.  I was bored one day and decided to see what this expensive toy was all about.  Because I love to read, I chose to read the manual first.  As I was reading the manual, I became excited because of all the features.  After a couple of hours, i had personalized his console by adding his pictures and favorite music on it.  He… read full review »

This is definately one of my favorite portable systems, and they fact that they made it more affordable is even better. The new features on are even more awesome, it is slimmer and more light weight, has better load times, you can even use tivo for a one time fee of $24.99, and a plathora of other features that are great. Even the use of compatibility with the playstation 3 has a numerous amount of opportunities. Who could ask for… read full review »

Most of the handheld gaming systems are very hard to see because they aren't lit up, or because the screen is to small.  But NOT THIS ONE!  I could not believe the clarity of the picture on the screen.  It's better than my t.v.!  Both my boys love it.  I'm even considering buying another for traveling this summer.  You can buy special UMD discs that play movies for the system too, and they are very reasonably priced.  You can pick up the games and/or movies used on ebay pretty cheap.  (Just a little side not there for ya. LOL)  I think it even… read full review »

I have to admit that the Sony PSP is a life saver! Especially if you travel with kids! This smaller version of the Play Station is small enough to fit in your hand; but, it has a very wide LCD screen which has excellent picture ability. The screen itself measures about 2 1/2 inches high by 4 inches wide. The entire unit measures 3 inches wide by 7 inches wide and is only 3/4 of an inch thick! — Some of the other features include parental control options, 36 MD memory, a 333 MHz processor, stereo speakers, a rechargeable battery which, once charged, will last to well over 2 hours of… read full review »

Two weeks ago I received the Sony Limited Edition Daxter PSP Entertainment Pack. According to amazon.com, "The PSP is the first truly integrated handheld entertainment system designed to handle multiple applications - music, video, communication, and wireless networking, with games as its primary driver. PSP brings an unparalleled gaming experience to a handheld platform, allowing users to enjoy 3D games, with high-quality, full-motion video, and high-fidelity stereo audio. With graphics rendering capability comparable to that of PlayStation®2, PSP features a 4.3-inch wide screen,… read full review »

The Sony PSP is the greatest Sony platform yet! It comes totally decked out with ear buds, charger, and internet. You may have to set up the internet but if you get it set up, it's worth it. When charging you can still play games, but it will charge a little slower.  The pictures on it are a thing of beauty. You can play a slideshow or just view them for pleasure at your own pace. If you have an awesome picture you can send it to a friend that also has a PSP. If you want to you can take one picture and put it as your background. If you are lucky you can get the camera for the PSP… read full review »

The playstation portable is a lot of fun packed into a little package. The psp is capable of playing and storing your mp3s, storing and viewing your photos, and playing your videos, all on a tiny memory stick pro duo. Going to see a friend and want to show them this cool video you saw online? Some cool photos? Your favorite songs? Well just bring that PSP along and share all your favorites! — — The PSP also has some great titles that you see on video consoles for the tv, so you can play it even when you're away from home. Socom, Need for speed, Call of duty, Madden, NBA 07 and… read full review »

I bought the PSP after I saw one that one of my coworkers purchased two weeks ago. He also purchased a lot of add ons, but what I saw was impressive: he could watch TV from his home while at work, even changing channels! When I saw that, I had to have one. — After charging the battery and doing the initial configuration (language, date, etc.) and installing the 1GB memory stick, I configured it for my wireless network. And I was surfing the web in under 10 minutes. Advantage: I don't have to pay cell charges when I need to connect to the Internet. Also, I can set up mutiple… read full review »

I got the PSP for my fiance as a Anniversary/Christmas gift.  We both absolutely love it!  My fiance takes it on every trip, even if only an hour away.  There seems to be soooo many different things you can do with it (internet, music, upload videos & pics, games, movies, etc).  I am also impressed on how long the battery lasts, my fiance plays it almost every day and we only charge the battery about 2 times a week.  There are only 2 things that I don't like, the first is that it is difficult to use all of the buttons while playing a game because it is much bigger… read full review »

— I received a playstation portable as a gift last year. I think it is just the coolest product ever. A person can watch movies, play games, listen to music, browse through pictures all in this small handheld device. The graphics are far better than expected and it is very easy to use, especially if you are familiar with other playstation products. I would recommend this product to a wide variety of people. It's really not just for people who play video games. It is a device that can keep any person entertained on a long flight or just for everyday fun. One down side however is that I… read full review »

The Sony Playstation Portable is a wonderful device that I use on a everyday basis. I am a music fanatic so I always have to listen to music while I am on the go. The PSP provides excellent playback for Mp3 and Mp4 files as well as WMA files out of Windows Media Player. Sometimes I get a little bored too especially waiting in the doctors office so I can take my DVD's and convert them to Mp4 format using the PSP Media Manager that is available in stores and watch them on my PSP with High Definition LCD Backlighted Playback. It looks just like a plasma screen! With Video Games as well I can… read full review »

The Sony PSP is a great product because any age group can use it. A person can play games or watch movies on it. The product is portable and durable and can be used in any travel situation (Car, Plane, Train or Boat). — The ease of use of the Sony PSP enables a young person of 5 years old or anyone above that age to operate the Sony PSP. The Sony PSP is easy to handle and has a crystal clear screen for viewing by the user. A user can enjoy a full length movie or play the latest video games on the marketplace today. — The Sony PSP can also use many accessories that can be… read full review »

this is the best portable i have played — i got it as a christmas gift last year and i hardly put it down if i go anywhere — i like the fact that the battery life is so good that way i don't have to stop playing to charge it. — this system has a ton of really great games of every genre if you can think of a style of game this system has it the graphics are excellent and there is hardly any load times or lag in any of the games that  i have. which at this moment is only twelve but i am looking to expand my collection for christmas and my birthday you cannot go wrong… read full review »

I have a psp and I think it is fantastic. I have a Nintendo ds too but I think the psp is a little bit better. The psp has good graphics and you can even use the Internet on it. You can put pictures, music, videos, and you can even download games onto the psp. About one week ago i found out that you could hook a camera up to the psp. The only thing that sucks about the psp is if you want to play someone one on one you would need the link cable. With the Nintendo you can just click the ds download play. It has a wide screen display and it has ps2 like graphics. The other things that suck about… read full review »
