Sony finally entering the portable ring. Here is their powerful Playstation Portable (or PSP for short) and see why everyone is talking about this system.

Now before you make a mad rush to the store to buy your PSP there are a few things you should know first. First off the bloody little thing is 250...

I loved this system, until I dropped it on my foot and the screen developed a crack down one side.  The system works fine -- you just can't see anything.  It belong to my friends son, so I felt obligated to buy a replacement. He put it in his carry on luggage and guess what he found when he got it...

My son received this for Christmas last year because it was the latest fad.  I refused to buy it because of the price but he convinced his father to buy it.  After a couple of weeks, my son packed it up and played with his sisters' DS Lite.  I was bored one day and decided to see what this expensive toy was all about.  Because I love to read, I chose to read the manual first.  As I was reading the manual, I became excited because of all the features.  After a couple of hours, i had personalized his console by adding his pictures and favorite music on it.  He became very excited and started... review »

This is definately one of my favorite portable systems, and they fact that they made it more affordable is even better. The new features on are even more awesome, it is slimmer and more light weight, has better load times, you can even use tivo for a one time fee of $24.99, and a plathora of other features that are great. Even the use of compatibility with the playstation 3 has a numerous amount of opportunities. Who could ask for more.

Most of the handheld gaming systems are very hard to see because they aren't lit up, or because the screen is to small.  But NOT THIS ONE!  I could not believe the clarity of the picture on the screen.  It's better than my t.v.!  Both my boys love it.  I'm even considering buying another for traveling this summer.  You can buy special UMD discs that play movies for the system too, and they are very reasonably priced.  You can pick up the games and/or movies used on ebay pretty cheap.  (Just a little side not there for ya. LOL)  I think it even comes with headphones, but my kids have never...

I have to admit that the Sony PSP is a life saver! Especially if you travel with kids! This smaller version of the Play Station is small enough to fit in your hand; but, it has a very wide LCD screen which has excellent picture ability. The screen itself measures about 2 1/2 inches high by 4 inches wide. The entire unit measures 3 inches wide by 7 inches wide and is only 3/4 of an inch thick!
Some of the other features include parental control options, 36 MD memory, a 333 MHz processor, stereo speakers, a rechargeable battery which, once charged, will last to well over 2 hours of play. When you...

The PSP is basically everything you need in one package. It plays music, videos, games, and connects to the Internet. There are also ways to hack it and play homebrew games and applications as well as every past console there was made. The internet feature is great and it even has an RSS reader and Internet radio built in. Also the Playstation network is now accessible from the PSP where you can make direct purchases of games and other playstation media. Themes are available for complete customized interface. Also there is a program called Skype and with the purchase of any additional earpiece you... review »

I must admit it I think it is a bit overpriced, you can get an entire game console for a little bit more. But I guess you pay for the convenience of the portability of the device. The games for the PSP usually have great graphics and in general are pretty fun. The best part of the PSP is it has many functions. You can store multimedia onto a memory card and play it directly on the device, it connects wirelessly to other PSP so you are able to play multi-player games with your friends, and it connects wirelessly to the PS3 so you can watch whatever is playing on the PS3! If you have a...

Playstation Portable (PSP), is good for kids maybe 8 and older.  For anyone younger the Nintendo DS would probroly be better.  The PSP has far more features then the DS such as movies, music, and internet access. A big minus though i think is that it is not touch screen.  I would be IN LOVE with it if it was. I am still very pleased with the system though.  There is a wide variety of games-although sometimes hard to find the exact one you want in stores.  Some stores have more of a selection than others.  The games are easy to use and the controls are easy as well.  I would reccomend thing... review »

Two weeks ago I received the Sony Limited Edition Daxter PSP Entertainment Pack. According to amazon.com, "The PSP is the first truly integrated handheld entertainment system designed to handle multiple applications - music, video, communication, and wireless networking, with games as its primary driver. PSP brings an unparalleled gaming experience to a handheld platform, allowing users to enjoy 3D games, with high-quality, full-motion video, and high-fidelity stereo audio. With graphics rendering capability comparable to that of PlayStation®2, PSP features a 4.3-inch wide screen, high-resolution...

The Sony PSP is the greatest Sony platform yet! It comes totally decked out with ear buds, charger, and internet. You may have to set up the internet but if you get it set up, it's worth it. When charging you can still play games, but it will charge a little slower.  The pictures on it are a thing of beauty. You can play a slideshow or just view them for pleasure at your own pace. If you have an awesome picture you can send it to a friend that also has a PSP. If you want to you can take one picture and put it as your background. If you are lucky you can get the camera for the PSP and hook it... review »

The playstation portable is a lot of fun packed into a little package. The psp is capable of playing and storing your mp3s, storing and viewing your photos, and playing your videos, all on a tiny memory stick pro duo. Going to see a friend and want to show them this cool video you saw online? Some cool photos? Your favorite songs? Well just bring that PSP along and share all your favorites!

The PSP also has some great titles that you see on video consoles for the tv, so you can play it even when you're away from home. Socom, Need for speed, Call of duty, Madden, NBA 07 and MLB 07 just to name a...

I bought the PSP after I saw one that one of my coworkers purchased two weeks ago. He also purchased a lot of add ons, but what I saw was impressive: he could watch TV from his home while at work, even changing channels! When I saw that, I had to have one.

After charging the battery and doing the initial configuration (language, date, etc.) and installing the 1GB memory stick, I configured it for my wireless network. And I was surfing the web in under 10 minutes. Advantage: I don't have to pay cell charges when I need to connect to the Internet. Also, I can set up mutiple configurations for wireless...

I got a PSP (PlayStation Portable) for Christmas last year.  It is a one person game.  You can get cheat codes off the Internet for the PSP just like you can for a PlayStation, PlayStation 2, or PlayStation 3.  You can take the PSP anywhere you want.  The games are about the same for the PSP but they are more durable.  They are not in the CD form, but instead they are like little boxes that load into the top of the game.  This system (plus a lot of different games) kept me well occupied on our eight hour trip to Disneyland.  The best way to get new games at a decent price is to go to a game...
