Unlike the bulkiness of its preceding model, this model has all of the bugs worked out. I have had it for over 2 years and not once have I had any problems with it. It has a lot of space for your gaming needs. No need to worry about the system over heating as the previous models of the generation were plagued by the yellow light of death. It remains cool throughout the course of your gaming and other entertainment. I highly recommend this model if you are considering purchasing a Playstation 3.

We purchased the Sony Playstation 3 this Christmas for our five and four year old. We used to have the Sony Playstation 2. They love the Sony playstation 3. It is really easy to use. I can even figure it out. I love the added blueray feature. We can play the kids favorite movies on the playstation. The console is small and sleek. I like the fact that the remotes are wireless. Our playstation 2 broke as a result of a little person tripping over the remote cord and pulling the entire console off the shelf onto the floor. I have not utilized all the other options but I am looking forward to it. Controller Comfort Easy for Adults and Little fingers to use. Durability We have only had it for a few weeks so time will tell.

PS3 is a great hardware system that let you experience to a whole new level. I bought this system 5 months ago and when i started playing some of the new game like assassin creed it was so awsome playing it because its wireless the sound is so great the tv screen turn into a movie when playing the game. The ps3 has a playstation store so you can shop there for some game for the ps3 but there is also playstation 1 game and of course japanese video game there only few but some of the are so cool to play. The system has a 250 gb it can store up all of the game, movies, photo, save files, and many more. When you connect the system you can also use the internet plus there more you can also connect a keybaord in the usb port it will be much easier, after that you can play some flash game, watch video, download your favorites stuff, and i think you can download some pc game on the system but i think it has to have some  pluging. PS3 is a great system to play for family, and friends.

the sony playstation 3 is the successor to the original playstation one and the direct successor to the playstation 2 that was released in 2001 in the united states. this machine is extremely well built and does not suffer from hardware problems and malfunctions unlike the microsoft xbox 360.  this revised hardware is lighter, more energy efficient, smaller, and even more reliable. however many of its features have been removed, such as SACD playback, playstation 2 compatibility, 2 usb ports, multicard reader, and linux distribution OS installation. however its movie playback abilities are extremely top notch and beautiful if playing a bluray movie such as Earth or avatar. current firmware allows for 3D playback of movies, which can be extremely expensive if spent on a dedicated 3d bluray player. the playstation 3 does all of this right out of the box with no hiccups. this unit is highly recommended.

(the Xbox controller does not come with a standard rechargeable battery, and it feels heavier and more bloated then the PS3 controller). 8) Built-in wireless connectivity. (an option on the Xbox)  Cons: Game are expensive when compared with the XBOX versions. Not many online players as compared with an XBOX. The Move is not as good as the XBOX Kinect. The number of USB ports has been decreased to two which is disappointing.

i was so excited when my wife and i decided to finally get a playstation 3! there are alot of people i know with it and they have told me all the great things about it. i have been looking up games for a few years so i already knew what i wanted before we even bought it. i love the wireless controller and the fact that you can recharge it throug ha wire or the charge stations. with the playstation 2 you could get wireless controllers but they are battery powered so you have to replace them often and they would randomly die in the middle of game play, and when you have small children wireless is pretty much essential.i have gone through a few games for it already that im not a big fan of, but there are a few games that i really love. castlevania: lorde of shadow is a phenominal game with beautiful graphics that only sony could have captured in such a fantastic way with the game play. i am not a fan of xbox in anyway, simply because their systems cannot withstand the good rpg's and action games i like to play. antoher great game for playstation 3 is nier, wonderful and out of the ordinary. i DEFINATELY recommend this product to Everyone!!! oh and dont forget when you buy a game you can buy add ons and enhanceyour experience!! hell yeah!

The PS3 is such a good console, I really like that it has a hard drive and a blu ray driver already in it. I like watching movies so the PS3 also makes a good blu ray player. With just an update of the firmware your blu ray drive is updated. The Sony first party games that are on the PS3 are really great looking games. Games such as drake fortune are fun, but the graphics for it is also fantastic. Sony has such a great amount of games from the first party companies. The PS3 also has support for the move controller, which is like the wii, but more precise in tracking your controller. Another positive thing about the PS3 is free online play. The negative thing about the PS3 is that some 3rd party games from companies such as electronic arts fail to make games on the PS3 look as good as it should be. These companies says that the PS3 is hard to program for so usually they don't look at well as it should be, and so the xbox 360 will sometimes get the better looking game.

There are so many things about this system that make it worth the money. It has wireless internet capabilities, can browse the internet, can browse and display files found on folders shared over your home network, has the ability to stream from such services as netflix and hulu plus, it plays bluray movies, and of course, to top it all off, can play some of the greatest games being made for the market today. Sony is a great brand, and they have outdone themselves with this device. I use my Playstation 3 more for its media capabilities that I do playing games, in all honesty. It is just soooo convenient to have everything all in one place! I love watching netflix in HD on this system, and being able to access the internet wirelessly is such a godsend. I used to own an Xbox 360, and it did not have this feature and it was a complete pain in the neck having to position my living room around where I could have access to the wall for my Xbox's internet connection. This is the most bang for your buck system out there right now, and is definitely worth every penny! I use mine every day multiple times, and you will too!

A year or so ago we gave a Sony PlayStaion to our middle son as a gift. Our youngest of course had to have one too. This past Christmas we bought him one too. We have Netflix Streaming and they can watch movies through their PlayStations. And the gaming is wonderful. The graphics are so real looking on some of the games they play. They can even get online together and play games against each other without ever leaving the comforts of their own rooms. My oldest son hooked up a surround sound system and the sounds now are as if you are a part of the game. Although sometimes we have to tell them to turn it down. These PlayStations have provided hours upon hours of fun for them and I know there will be many more to come. They also watch blu-ray movies through their Playstaion 3 system. The quality of the movies is excellent, better than some blu-ray players. And if you want them to be more active, you can buy them games and accessories that make them get up off the couch and participate in the game. There is so much the PS3 has to offer!
