This controller is pretty nice. It feels comfortable in the hand and works very well. My favorite thing about it is that it's usually very responsive and has great features like sixaxis which is when you can use the gyroscopic feature within the controller. Basically you can shift the controller left and right and that can be used as a secondary way to control the character or vehicle for some games.

I like that I only have to charge my controller about once a month. It always works when I need it to. I love how far away from my console I can be while using it. This is quite an accomplishment on Sony in my opinion. The battery life is remarkable, one charge can last several days. The antenna, or connectivity from the controller to the console is great. I've even played a game from another room, just to see how it would function. I give it a 10 for ease of use, with the accessible buttons. Since it is similar to the past controllers of the PS2 system, those who have played with those will have no trouble adapting.

This Dualshock 3, much like PS2's Dualshock 2, is a strong, well-built and comfortable controller. One-touch power on, for both the system and controller, is a very welcome touch. The wireless charge lasts more than long enough for an average session and charges quickly and easily. The charging cable, however, is very short, so it is difficult to charge the controller while still using it except by sitting very near the system. The controller is very durable and can take a great deal of punishment and still function properly. My controller, purchased more than 3 years ago, work perfectly. However, some controllers after prolonged use have a problem in which the analog sticks become 'unlocked' and, while they are still functional, the joystick of the controller twists while in use. This can sometimes be a minor annoyance during play but, again, the controller still functions. All in all, a very sturdy and reliable controller with only a few small issues. Highly recommended.

The PS3 controllers are not my favorite, but they are very good still. They are small, so they are easy to handle, but the button system isn't the easiest to use. I prefer other controllers, but others may find these controllers better. They respond quicker than most controllers, which is really nice.

This is truly the most comfortable, easy to use controller for the ps3. I have tried generics to save a buck, and have always gone back to this one. It is also one of the most durable controllers I've used for any platform. My younger baby sisters can't even break this one.
