What is there to say about the Sony PlayStation 3? It is a remarkable console that continues the legacy from the PlayStation 1 and PlayStation 2. With it enhanced design, HD graphics and blue ray technology is easily won me over. However, I was already hooked on the Sony PlayStation bandwagon when my mom purchased my PlayStation 2 back in 2004. Game Variety Grand Theft Auto, Halo, Racing Games, Baseball, NFL you name it the playstation 3 carried it. It is one of Sony's most successful consoles and has out numbered Microsoft in the game variety wars that the two companies have been in since Microsoft released its Xbox. Controller Comfort Once you get used to the different in controller styles as they differ for that of the PlayStation 2 controllers, they are really comfortable and easy to use. I have had no problems with the controllers for this console. However, I will say remember to keep the controller charged and make sure that as you play your games the charger cord is close by. Durability I have had my for a year and it is still in good shape.

This is a great video game system on it's own, but it is much more than that it is an entertainment system. It is very versatile from playing video games to music, movies, great clarity and it's awesome ability to serve 90% as a computer. Graphics Quality The play station by far has the best graphics due to it's blue ray capacity.d the difference is very obious to tech geeks but soon you will see it with your own eyes. Game Variety The play station has alot of game variety for all ages from the hardcore to the babies. also the ability to play games from other play station systems also increases the game diversity. Controller Comfort The controllers are great in the sense of dual shock, personally i prefer the xbox 360 controller because it fits fine into my palms. apart from that the playstation controller gives you a super realistic feel to the game you are playing Ease of Use It is very easy to use like all most sony systems, as long as you can read you will be able to operate this with ease; although you don't need the manual to figure things out it is always helpful. Durability over all from friends and personal experience the ps3 last longer than the xbox depending on the user and also it comes down to how much you take care of it.

As much as I love my PS games, it was the last reason I bought the system. I think of it more as an entertainment system more than anything. I love the fact that I do not need a Blu-ray player and I have never had any issue with DVD playback. However, I ***adore*** the fact that it allows me to watch, view, hear anything on my computer. Movies, TV shows, pictures, songs.......I can access them all through the PS3. I never again have to burn a DVD to avoid watching things on my laptop. That fact alone made it well worth the purchase. The bonus here certainly was being bundled with Little Big Planet, one of the most fun and amazingly creative games ever created. On the bad side, it doesn't play any of my PS or PS2 games, but it makes up for that by being something that I truly use ***every day***.

I got this bundle on Thanksgiving, and have been playing Little Big Planet ever since. LBP is a great game for all ages. It doesn't have the fancy graphic or complex game play, but it's fun for the family. The game player is pretty much endless, you can build pretty much anything you can think of and design puzzles. This game definitely deserve to be in every PS3 owner's collection. The PS3 I got comes with 250GB, the space is pretty much the only difference compare to other variant out there. I love the bluray capability, once you go high definition you will never go back to watch dvd's. I also have my PS3 hooked up to stream movies from my computer, which works great. The graphic is just superb, doesn't matter what game you're playing. The controller is pretty much the same as PS2, except it's wireless. I charge the controller when I'm not playing so I never run out of battery. PS3 is a great console, you will not regret it.

I have had both xbox 360 and ps3 for awhile now, and I have to say ps3 is the best console out there so far. You will not get disappointed by the graphic and selection of games. Though some high quality games are only on xbox, like Halo. That's why I have two consoles, I get the best of each world. PS3 is great not just for games, it's great for watch movies in bluray. This also saves you money if you plan on getting a bluray player. Getting PS3 connected online is very easy, just hook it up to a ethernet cable and it's able to find an IP. The wireless controller is awesome, I don't even have to be close to the console and the battery life is great. I charge it when I'm not playing anyway and I have never run out of battery during a game. The downside would probably be the heat. If you play it for a long period of time, or just switched from playing xbox, which I tend to do, it's better to position two consoles away from each other. Overall, I'd choose ps3 if I can only have one.

Finding something to do with this device is very easy. If you have friends over flip on Netflix that comes preloaded on the system. if you want to watch regular tv shows switch on Hulu plus for your buddies.
