**Sony Mavica MVC-CD1000 digital camera is my favorite camera.I have had and have many different cameras. I love photography and I am really into taking pictures. I like to add special effects and do many different things with my photos. I do not like the conventional film camera where you have to have the film developed to get your pictures. I love the convenience of this camera. It records the photos on a 3" compact disc, which then you just pop into your CD-rom and view on your PC. Then you may download and save to your PC and/or keep them saved on the disc. Once the pictures are saved to your PC, then you can do all kinds of creative things, make calendars, greeting cards, frame them, add props and E.T.C. and also email them to family and friends. This camera taked clear, sharp photos and takes excellent close ups. The camera has an attachment that allows you to view photos on your Television and it also records mini movies. I just love this camera. Although, Sony quit making these cameras, you can still buy them on E-bay and other various marketplaces and stores. The only thing I don't like is no support for them is available and if the camera has an issue that can't be resolved by troubleshooting, then you would have to have it repaired by A Sony technician which could be quite expensive. Other than that I love my Sony Mavica MVC-CD1000 and I would recommend this product.**
