I got this as a gift for Christmas and I was really excited because I had wanted a camcorder for awhile. This, however, was far from what I was hoping for. It didn't record very well and the pictures were awful. I would be completely still and take a picture of my daughter and it would always come out blurry. It was just a pain and I ended up taking it back. BUT if a parent wanted to buy it for a teenager of something for them to just play around with, then maybe it might have some worth. I would wait for it to go on sale though.

The Good: the color and design is attractive, it has "HD" resolution, memory-card slot, swiveling lens, and its very portable and fits in my purse.  ANother good thing about this is that its very light and it will not weigh your hand down. The Bad: it's difficult to see the LCD on a candy bar-shaped camcorder when you want to shoot at an angle.  Every time I skip to next picture the noise is always loud and it can be quite annoying.  At first, when I was setting the time/date it is very sensitive, so you have to go really slow and be patience.  There is no light flash for the camera section, but the camera does a pretty good job picking up light in the area. Overall, I enjoy using the webbie to recorder my neices and my nephew during football practices/ganmes.   I do in fact like that I can move the lens up and down to catch every movement during my recording.

I have this camcorder for more than 1 year now. It's light and easy to caryy anywhere. I have been carrying it in my purse all the time because I want to capture everyday surprises. It's easy to upload in the computer as well. It's worth the price!

The sony Webbie HD is a very cool device if you are looking for a inexpensive video recorder for small videos. I have had a very good experience with this device and I would reconmend for most people that just want a decent video recorder. It records in High Deffinition and the videos are easy to upload and put on to your computer. I found it really easy to use and the features are great too. It is small and compact for easy travel and it take no time to set up with just a little bit of video production skills you could record Professional looking videos and small films in no time. I recently used this product for a video project I was working on for one of my artist and I was amazed be the clearity of the picture and the audio wasn't bad either. I wish I have found this product sooner because it would have made some of my other video project a walk in the park. How ever there are a few down falls to this device like the recording time that is why it is only good for short films with little to no special effects. Not a product or device I would you for full lenth movies or for videos with lots of effects or graphics. The Picture tend to break down after a few effects. Over all I will give The Sony Webbie HD a 3 out of 5 stars.

I just got this, it's a great little camcorded. I plan on taking this on vacation, It will easily fit into my purse and it's very light to carry. It has everything you need to download to your computer and the cables for television veiwing, plus more. The price was affordable. For the money you simply cannot go wrong!!
