Ok all this HDTV stuff seems so strange to me. Now don't get me wrong the picture quality is outstanding and much better than any thing before. However I remember back in college hearing of this HDTV thing. I remember reading how it was going to change not only the way people watched TV but also the way it was going to be broadcast. All I could think was no way can they do this. Everyone would have to buy new TV's they couldnot afford and how could stations pay for all that equipment needed to change over to digital? Oh course this was when I was in college.....in 1991. It is so wild to see it actually happening. Sony of course leads the way in those quality TV's required for such viewing.
