Sony - IC Recorder ICD-BX700 Review

I bought the Sony ICD-BX700 as an aid to my mystery shopping.  I really like the size of this recorder because it can fit into a large pocket or inside my pocketbook.  It is really discreet and I love the voice activated recording option.  It saves me from wasting time when I play it back and it also allows me to make small comments which I feel will help me later.  I really like this recorder a lot.

The only drawback I have encountered is with the playback mode.  I sometimes need to search forward and back while listening to the recording.  With this recorder I find it hard to search.  It will jump in very small increments or it will jump all the way to the next recording!  So far, I have found it easier just to listen to the recording several times to get all the info I need.

It is a big help to me but if I could do this again, I would definitely find something that offers easier search features for the playback mode.  It is a little frustrating.
