Sony Erricson - Z525A Cell Phone —

I have gone through 3 Sony Ericson z525a's and although the phone has a great menu system and battery life, I cannot get past its durability issues. I have experienced the same problem both times my phone broke. The people at Sony Ericson call it "The white screen of death". It is pretty much what it sounds like, the screen turns white and you can no longer see anything but this monotone screen. you can still receive calls but you will never know who they are from or be able to make outgoing calls (as well as do things like set an alarm, check your calendar etc.). After speaking to some customer service people they mailed me a new phone because I had owned this one for less than a year. The shipping was free and prepaid for the return of the phone and was done very promptly. This happened to me again about 8 months later. I did not drop the phone or get it wet or anything like that. I believe this has something to do with them willingly replacing it for free.
Basically the phone is a non-smart phone that should be free with any contract and seems like it would not be anyone's first choice for now. Even if you do not want to get a data plan, go for another model.
