Sony Erricson - W580i Cell Phone Reviews

 I have had this cell phone for eight months now..and i have yet to understand what all its functions are..and how to use them, and why the battery runs down so fast when you use some of them, i cant use the blue tooth capabilities because the phone runs down in half a day..or the mp3 player becuase of the same thing..i could use it at work if i could keep the battery up and alive..i got this as a free phone because of changing my plan but dont think i would actually buy it if i could..anyone else got one?

Only gripe is that the buttins on the front sometimes unlick the phone is hit just right on pocket.

Other than that, It's a great little phone - has MP3 player - that's the main reason i purchased it

My contract had expired so I wanted to upgrade my phone.  I looked all over until I found the one I wanted.  I chose the Sony Ericsson W580i cell phone.  It has so many features.  More than I'll ever use.  And the color choices were great.  I was able to get it in my favorite color, pink.  I like that it can play games, listen to the radio, add music to it and listen to that and that it has a camera.  You can also download your favorite ringtone and add a different one to all your friends and family.  That's a lot of fun.   My favorite feature is the Walkman Media Player.  It's great...

I've always been drawn to cell phones that incorporated an MP3 player as one of the primary functions as opposed to carrying an additional electronic device around with you. The sony Erricson W580I is a solid choice for one who doesn't like to carry around a bulky item to do all their personal business as well as some private entertaining either at work or running errand. It may not boast the memory or attraction of the IPhone, But it's small size and expandable memory goes a long way as an attractive small phone. Excellent phone, the Sony Ericssoon W580i worked anywhere I traveled. I live in L.A. and some areas is challenged with cellphone service/ connectivity. I also used this phone as a modem to my laptop. I had better internet connection with this phone and AT&T as a service provider than Verizon wireless in my home.As a MP3 player, I don't see why I would need an IPOD, this phone is better than the IPOD's I owned in the past. This phone is ok.  I liked it because u had a choice of what color, either gray, white, or pink and i like pink!  I dropped it once now the number 2 and 9 butons,on the phone, only works when it wants too.  It makes it extremely hard to text now which is the primary use of the phone.  The mp3 player and am/fm radio are awesome though.  Its great for going to the gym and not have to worry about a mp3 player and a cell phone because its all in one.  I love the at&t servicesthat comes with the phone.  the signal is the best!  I use to have another sony ercikson phone from at&t it was the w6801,...

The Sony Ericsson W380i looks and sounds great and has so many cool features. I have the pink one, but all the colors are great looking. The phone is easy to use and navigate. The sound quality is excellent, the web browsing is super fast for a phone and the features are well organized. The phone will hold a memory card which is great to backup contacts, pictures, ringtones, etc., especially if you change phones often. My only issue with the phone is that I had to trade my first one in on warranty because the right button cracked after only two months, it had problems with locking and was shutting...
